Carroll County picked up 14 individual wins in a four-team all-comers track & field meet at home on Thursday.
Macie Miller had three wins for the Carroll girls including the 100-meter hurdles in 19.66, the high jump in 4 feet, 2 inches and the triple jump, 27 feet, 4 inches. Seth Franklin had two wins for the Carroll boys, winning the high jump at 5 feet, 6 inches and the triple jump in 39 feet, 2 inches.
Rebecca Kainer won three events for the Trimble County girls, claiming the 100 dash in 13.54, the 200 dash, 28.21 and the 400 dash, 1:03.10.
Other top finishes for the Carroll boys were: Teague Wells, first, 400 dash, 56.36; Jakobi Chapman-Meadows, first, long jump, 16-8 and second, shot put, 33-7.25; Grayson Kinman, first, turbojav, 97-1, second, high jump, 5-4 and second, triple jump, 33-9.5; 400 relay, first, 48.65; 1600 relay, first, 4:06.24; 3200 relay, first, 10:52.45; Taylor Harsin, second, 400 dash, 57.45; Elias Cardoso-Ortiz, second, 800 run, 3:04.49 and third, 1600 run, 6:44.52; Alex Bolton, second, 1600 run, 5:17.86; Aiden Lilley, second, 300 hurdles, 51.82; Traiven Bays, third, 100 dash, 12.50; Zander Webb, third, 400 dash, 1:16.66 and third, long jump, 11-5; and Johnathan Pirtle, third, 800 run, 3:29.68.
Other top finishes for the Carroll girls were: 400 relay, first, 1:00.09; 1600 relay, first, 6:28.33; 3200 relay, first, 16:41.63; Regan Miller, second, 400 dash, 1:06.64 and third, 800 run, 3:55.72; Lydia Risk, second, long jump, 12-9; Amabell Tamzin, second, discus, 65-5 and second, shot put, 24-7; Adree Dermon, third, 100 dash, 14.00; Ava Webb, third, long jump, 11-6; and Shelby Hillebrandt, third, turbojav, 31-9.
Other finishes for the Trimble girls were: Avery Stockdale, first, 1600 run, 7:11.67 and second, 800 run, 3:06.55; Kainer, second, high jump, 4-0; Abby Young, third, discus, 61-4 and fifth, shot put, 14-10.5; Adeline Howerton, third, shot put, 22-8 and fourth, long jump, 11-5; Sophie O’Neal, fifth, 200 dash, 32.54 and seventh, 100 dash, 15.91; and Autrie Bremer, sixth, 100 dash, 15.86 and sixth, 200 dash, 33.35.
Top finishes for the Trimble boys were: Charlie Abbott, first, discus, 109-11 and first, shot put, 37-11; John Whitaker, second, discus, 86-2 and third, shot put, 31-5; Gabe Gruchala, fifth, shot put, 29-3; Jordan Middeler, sixth, 200 dash, 26.76 and eighth, 100 dash, 13.33; John Campomayor, seventh, 100 dash, 13.20 and seventh, 200 dash, 27.71; and Ric Chilton, eighth, 200 dash, 29.60.
Both Carroll County and Trimble County compete in the North Central Kentucky Conference Championships on Thursday. Carroll then competes at Boone County on Saturday.
