The American Queen, the largest steam riverboat ever built, spent several days in port at Madison last week. Built for the Delta Queen Steamboat Company in 1995 the Queen has 222 staterooms and is equipped for a capacity of 436 guests and a crew of 160. The vessel is 418 feet long and 89 feet wide. Her home port is Memphis, Tenn.
