With little fanfare, Trimble County is commemorating 180 years of existence this spring. The Trimble County Historical Society held an open house Monday at the Trimble County Public Library with numerous historical displays and photos from the county’s years of existence. A steady stream of local residents and school children viewed the artifacts during the afternoon.
