    Ronald Douglas Riley 68, of Milton, died October 4, 2012 in Milton. 

    He was born on Feb. 7, 1944 to the late Norvin and Margaret Smith Riley.

    Survivors include his children, Walter D. Riley, Pensacola, FL, Margaret R. Snow, Milton, and David A. Riley, Madison, Ind.; two brothers, Charles Holloway, Carrollton, and Walter Holloway, Bedford; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

    His parents preceded Ronald in death.

    Maurice Hoffman, 96, Milton, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Ind.

    He was born on Sept. 30, 1916 in Madison to Matthew Joseph Hoffman, Sr. and Clara Gertrude Hunger Hoffman.

    Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Louise Butler Hoffman, Milton; his daughters, Jenny Banker, Akron, Ohio, Nancy Flint, Madison, Ind.; two sons, Maury Hoffman, Nashville, Tenn., Ron Hoffman, Vilas, NC; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers and other relatives.

  • Gerald Denny Morgan, 71

    Gerald Denny Morgan, 71, Carrollton, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2012 in Carrollton. Born Aug. 12, 1941 in Milton, he was the son of Russell and Ogle Mahoney Morgan.

    Survivors include his wife, Wanda Morgan, Carrollton; two sons, Gerald “Jerry” Morgan, Cincinnati, Ohio and Larry Morgan, West Chester, Ohio; one sister Sharon Morgan, Madison, Ind.; seven grandchildren; two step-grandsons and many other relatives.

    Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. until service time.

    Ewing C. Perry, 84 of Bedford, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange.

    Born Sept. 13, 1928 in Trimble County, he was the son of the late Walter Perry and Nola Sanders Perry.  

    Survivors include his wife of 48 years Dotsie J. Perry, Bedford, his son Gary Graham, Bedford, six grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; one sister, Imogene Bird, Louisville; one brother Douglas Perry, Madison, Ind. and many nieces and nephews.

    Robert R. “Pop” Mosher 84, Milton, died Monday, Sept 17, 2012 in Milton.

    He was born on November 16, 1927 in Aurora, Illinois.

    Services will be 1 p.m. Friday 21, 2012 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford, with Brother Larry Franklin officiating the service.

    Visitation will be Thursday 20, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until time of service at Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford.

    Born February 2, 1954, in Madison, she was the daughter of Ivan Eugene & Rodia Lee Hurt Cyrus.

    Survivors include her son, Billy Austin, Madison, Ind; her daughters, Rhonda Jones, Milton, Tabby Austin, Madison, Ind.; six grandchildren and several other relatives.

    MILTON, Ky.—Lillie Marie Taylor Harsin, 86, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, after an extended illness.

    Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Graham Dunn Funeral Home, 215 Fifth Street in Carrollton with Tom Starks officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.

    Mrs. Harsin was born Oct. 31, 1925, to the late William Henry and Noba Garrett Taylor. She was a member of the Mt. Herman Baptist church, a homemaker and farmer.
