    Knitting class

    Learn new knitting skills and make a slouchy knitted hat at 11 a.m. Thursday. Bring size 5 & 7 knitting needles and worsted weight yarn. The group is open to ages 14 and up. The class meets in the Trimble Library meeting room.

    The Trimble County hymn sing starts at 7 p.m. at Pleasant View Baptist Church.

    Tuesday, March 6

    The American Red Cross will have a blood drive from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Trimble County High School. This is a rescheduling from when the drive was previously canceled due to schools being closed.

    Help make decorations for Project Prom from noon to 4 p.m. in the Trimble CARES office, Room 118 in the Board of Education Administrative Offices (the old middle school). You do not have to be an artist or crafty, just able to slap a bit of paint here and there.

    Trimble County Fiscal Court meets at 9 a.m. in the meeting room of the Trimble County Judge-Executive’s office.

    Bedford City Commission meets at 6:00 p.m. at Bedford City Hall located in the Morgan Community Center.

    The 4-H Agriculture Club meets at 6:30 p.m. at the Trimble County Extension Office, 43 High Country Lane in Bedford. New members are welcome.

    Learn new knitting skills and make a pretty hanging dishcloth at 11 a.m. today in the library meeting room. The library supplies the yarn and the group is open to ages 14 and older.

    Yoga

    Take time to quiet your mind and gently strengthen your body with yoga at 6 p.m. Monday in the library meeting room. Wear comfortable clothes and bring your yoga mat. If you don’t have a mat you can borrow one from the library. The class is free and open to ages 16 and older.

    Senator Paul Hornback will have a town hall meeting to discuss the biennial budget, pension reform and other topics at 1 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Trimble County Fiscal Court Building, 123 Church Street.
