    Dec. 5

    King’s Daughters’ Health will host its annual Cancer Survivors Celebration at 6 p.m. in the gymnasium at North Madison Christian Church, 1400 East State Route 62 – across the road from the hospital’s main campus. The event is open to all cancer survivors and a guest of their choice. Those wanting to attend are asked to RSVP by Nov. 30. Call the Cancer Treatment Center 812-801-0603. The evening will include dinner and entertainment.

    Nov. 15

    Trimble County Senior Center’s “Stone Soup Day” will be 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the senior center, 3240 U.S. 421 North, Bedford. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the food pantry and enjoy a bowl of soup for lunch.

    Beef Quality and Care Assurance is at 6 p.m. at the Trimble County Extension Office.

    The Trimble County Junior/Senior High School will honor area veterans with a recognition program at 2 p.m. in the gym. All veterans are invited to attend.

    Milton City Commission meets at 7 p.m. at the Milton Municipal Building.

    Nov. 9

    Bedford Elementary’s Veterans Day program starts at 9 a.m. at the school. Coffee and doughnuts for veterans will be served from 8:30 a.m. until the program starts.

    Oct. 26

    Trimble County Water District No. 1’s October board meeting will be at 9 a.m. at 34 East Morgan Drive, Bedford. The meeting date was moved from the previously scheduled day, Oct. 31.

    Trimble County Senior Center will host an open house and fall dance. The open house is 4-6 p.m. with music for the dance starting at 6 p.m. A great selection of music, door prizes and refreshments will be available. The event is open to the public and not limited just to seniors.

    Tri-County Community Action Agency’s Board of Directors will meet at 10 a.m. at the Trimble County Extension Office, 43 High Country Road, Bedford. The public is invited to attend. Tri-County CAA provides services in Henry, Oldham and Trimble counties.

    Oct. 20

    Trimble County Historical Society meets at 10:30 a.m. in the Trimble County Public Library meeting room. Everyone is welcome to attend.

    POUND is a full body cardio jam session and you can attend this class every week at the Library for free. The class will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the library meeting room.

    Yoga: Take time to quiet your mind and gently strengthen your body with yoga. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat. If you don’t have a mat, borrow one from the library. The class is free and meets at 6 p.m. in the library meeting room. This session will be taught by Becky.
