Thursday, September 7
Trimble County Board of Education Public Hearing regarding the proposed tax levy will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Board Office at 116 Wentworth Ave. in Bedford.
The Trimble County Board of Education’s Sept. 6, 2017 regular meeting date has now been changed to a Special Called Meeting to be held on Sept. 7, 2017. This meeting will follow the Public Hearing Meeting that is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Trimble County Board of Education Office.
Trimble County Hymn Sing will be held 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 7, at the Milton Baptist Church, 100765 Hwy 421 N. in Milton.

Hopewell Community Church on Locust Road will be having its annual Homecoming, Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Everyone welcome to attend
The Sutherland family reunion will be held Sunday, Sep. 10th, from 1:00-4:00 p.m., at the General Butler State Resort Park stone shelter house.

Milton City Commission meets at the Milton Municipal Building at 7:00 p.m.

Bedford Springs Church Ladies Retreat is Sept. 16 at 12:00 in Fellowship Hall.  Guest speaker is Machele Coleman Bess with message ‘Who Holds The Reins.’  Sandwiches, salads and desserts will be served. Bedford City Commission meets at Bedford City Hall in the Morgan Community Center at 6:00 p.m.

Bedford Springs Church Celebration Service Fri. & Sat. Sept. 29 & 30 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 1 Sunday Service at 11 a.m. Speaker will be Pastor Kenny Evans with Special Music at each service, Fri.-Rebekah Murphy, Sat.-Helen Mumphrey and Sun.-Reid Moore and Son. Come and celebrate our Lord.
KIPDA, Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living is planning a Centenarian  Celebration! Our goal is to recognize and honor citizens who live in the KIPDA region, who are 100 years old or older.  Exceptions will be made for individuals who are 99 years old, turning 100 this year!  The celebration event will be from 1-3:30 pm on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017 at Beargrass Christian Church, 4100 Shelbyville Rd., Louisville. “My Health Matters” meets the third Monday of each month from 7:15-8:00 p.m. at the Trimble County Public Library, 35 Equity Drive, Bedford. 7:00 p.m. weigh-in (optional)
Bedford Baptict Church Clothes Closet, located at 1425 U.S. Hwy. 42E, will be open the third Saturday of every month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Milton Lions Club meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Milton Lions Clubhouse on U.S. 421N in Milton. The club is always open to new members who would like to become involved in the important civic opportunities offered by the organization.
The Dare to Care Food Mobile Pantry will continue to be held at the Trimble County Park’s 4-H building on the 4th Wednesday of each month. The time has changed to 2-3 p.m.. Everyone is invited. Please do not arrive early. The doors do not open until 2:00 p.m. sharp. Please be kind and patient. Sometimes there is a delay in the delivery and the time might have to be changed at the last minute and with no notice. Our turn out has been growing each month. Sometimes we do run out of items. Trimble County Conservation District Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays only. Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month, at 7 p.m.
CASA Volunteers are needed in Trimble and Henry Counties, to advocate for the well-being of abused and/or neglected children.
