Commencement Exercises for the Trimble County High School Class of 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the TCHS gymnasium.
Monday, May 29
Trimble’s Memorial Day services, coordinated by the Bedford Rotary Club, will be held in the courtyard of the Trimble County Courthouse at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
Tuesday, May 30
Trimble County Board of Elections will inspect voting machines at 2:00 p.m. in preparation for the special Nickel Tax Election, set to be held June 13.
Feed the Children will meet at 5 p.m. at the Bedford Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome.
Tuesday, June 6
Madison Community Band will hold a performance at 7 p.m. at the Firemen’s Park in Madison. Call Director Mark Johnson (812-599-0840) for more information. The public is invited to enjoy the concert.

Trimble County Board of Education will meet at the Board of Education Office at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, June 9
Milton City Commission will meet at the Milton Municipal Building at 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 10
The family of Sylvan Scott invites all friends and family to join in celebrating the occasion of his 90th birthday on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Morgan Community Center in Bedford.  You are invited to stop by and share memories, stories, photos, well wishes or cards with Sylvan between 1:00-4:00 p.m. that afternoon. Refreshments will be provided at this open house occasion. Please bring no gifts - your presence will be blessing enough. Come and join us for a great time!

Special Recall Election on the Nickel Tax for Trimble County Schools at the normal polling places at Milton Elementary and Bedford Elementary Schools.

2017 Trimble County Fair will be held at the Trimble County Park with carnival rides, exhibits, concerts, baby contests and pageants, horse shows and demolition derby, other events.
Bedford Baptict Church Clothes Closet, located at 1425 U.S. Hwy. 42E, will be open the third Saturday of every month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Milton Lions Club meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Milton Lions Clubhouse on U.S. 421N in Milton. The club is always open to new members who would like to become involved in the important civic opportunities offered by the organization.
The Dare to Care Food Mobile Pantry will continue to be held at the Trimble County Park’s 4-H building on the 4th Wednesday of each month. The time has changed to 2-3 p.m.. Everyone is invited. Please do not arrive early. The doors do not open until 2:00 p.m. sharp. Please be kind and patient. Sometimes there is a delay in the delivery and the time might have to be changed at the last minute and with no notice. Our turn out has been growing each month. Sometimes we do run out of items. Trimble Co. Apple Festival meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Judge Executive’s office
Trimble County Conservation District Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays only. Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month, at 7 p.m.
CASA Volunteers are needed in Trimble and Henry Counties, to advocate for the well-being of abused and/or neglected children.
