    The Trimble County High School football team traveled to Eminence Friday night for their season opener against the Warriors. Under the guidance of new Head Coach Mike Isley and company, the Raiders look to turn around the program and put the past behind them.

    In the game against the Warriors, the Raiders’ offense was able to move the ball down the field, but a combination of turnovers and penalties prevented them from crossing the goal line.

    Saturday, Sept. 3: Shelby County Invitational, MS/Elem, Located at East Middle School in Shelbyville, Middle school girls 3k: 11:45 a.m. Middle school boys 3k: 12:15 p.m.

  • Detroit celebrates 100 years of...

    The City of Detroit is getting ready to celebrate its 100th anniversary of boat racing on the Detroit River this weekend (August 26-28) when the H1 Unlimited Hydroplane series returns to the Motor City for the UAW-GM Spirit of Detroit Hydrofest presents the APBA Gold Cup. A field of nine boats is expected to compete for the granddaddy of boat racing trophies.

  • Lady Raiders off to a 2-0 start

    The Trimble County Lady Raiders have begun the 2016 volleyball season in the aggressive style they are known for, quickly dispatching Eminence and Gallatin County in their first two outings, both by scores of 2-0. Trimble toppled Eminence on Aug. 16, 25-14 and 25-16,  and defeated Gallatin 25-15 and 25-10 on Aug. 18.
