  • X-Country teams place 5th, 6th at state

    The Trimble County Raiders cross-country teams returned from the 2010 Kentucky State Cross Country this weekend with great news.
    The girls team took fifth place out of 23 teams in the Class A meet, held Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, while the boys team took sixth place.
    Head Coach Jeff Vincent said he is proud of both teams’ efforts and praised the runners’ hard work – particularly the seniors.

  • Raiders runnin’ to state tourney

    The 2010 Trimble County High School Boys cross country team made school history last week, as they conquered what no other boys’ program has been able to accomplish: back-to-back regional championships.
    The Lady Raiders’ six year regional championship streak, however, came to an end this year, but the girls did earn regional  runner-up honors.
    The race featured teams from Danville, Sayre, Bracken County, Owen County, Carroll County, Lexington Christian Academy, St. Patrick, Burgin, Gallatin County, and Eminence.  

  • Young Runnin' Raiders claim state cross-country title

    The Kentucky state cross-country championship for middle-school and elementary-school athletes was a popular event this past Saturday at Masterson Station Park in Lexington, Ky.

    The event drew 3,318 athletes ranging from  kindergarteners to seniors. 

    The “young” Runnin’ Raiders of Trimble County earned some respect, claiming two state titles and one runner up. They also claimed many Top 50 finishes among individual runners.

  • Runnin' Raiders rock NCKC tourney

    Trimble County Park was the scene for this year’s North Central Kentucky Conference cross-country championship race, drawing runners from Williamstown, Walton-Verona and Gallatin, Owen, Carroll, Henry and Trimble counties.

    Traditionally, with several state-ranked a very competitive conference title race, the battle was on between the athletes from those schools.
