  • Raiders top Carroll, 66-64, in exciting rivalry game

    For Trimble County fans last week’s battle with visiting Carroll County delivered everything spectators of a rivalry game could hope for. For disappointed Carroll fans the outcome fell a basket short as the Panthers led most of the way until an empty stretch in the final quarter allowed Trimble to take the lead and hold it down the stretch for a 66-64 win.

  • David Marsh signs to play football at Georgetown College

    Kind, caring, team player, dedicated, excellent skills, and a strong Christian are only a few of David Marsh’s outstanding qualities. One of his accomplishments in 2014-2015 was being first team All-District in high school football. He has recently signed with Georgetown College to play football at the next level in 2015-2016. His contributions to the TCHS football team have been phenomenal and he will be greatly missed.

  • Lady Raiders defeat border rivals Carroll and Henry

    A concentrated defensive effort on the part of Trimble County’s Lady Raiders held Carroll County’s lone senior in check for most of Saturday’s basketball matchup enabling Trimble to pull out a 48-34 victory over the visiting Lady Panthers.

    Trimble County collected wins over Western Hills, 75-63, and Calvary Christian by a score of 76-53 in a road game over the past week.

  • Raiders pull out nail biter over Fort Knox in tourney

    Coach Johnny Leep’s Trimble County Raiders led by a single digit on the scoreboard with about two minutes left to play but rallied behind a strong closing performance by junior forward Josh Rexroat to race to a 71-62 victory over visiting Fort Knox in the opening round of the Jim Hurst Holiday Classic Monday.

    Trimble Head Coach Kerrie Stewart was ecstatic Friday after her Lady Raiders accomplished what no other Trimble team had done in several years—defeat the Oldham County Lady Colonels in high school basketball. Trimble was in control of the contest from the beginning en route to a 47-34 victory.
