Local residents were introduced to three alternatives for traffic improvements on the approach to the new Milton-Madison Bridge during a public information meeting Thursday at the Milton Elementary School. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet hosted the meeting, the purpose of which was to get public feedback on the three alternatives.
The goals of the potential improvement to the Kentucky approach to the bridge are:
l reduce traffic congestion
l accommodate truck traffic with a wider pavement width
