  • Bobby Chrisman Warfield, 64

    CARROLLTON, Ky. – Bobby Chrisman Warfield, 64, of Carrollton died Monday, July 13, 2009, at the Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton.

    Funeral services will be Thursday, July 16 at 11 a.m.  at the Tandy, Eckler, Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave., in Carrollton. Visitation will be tonight, Wednesday, July 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

    Mr. Warfield was born Oct. 3, 1944 in Owen County, Ky. to the late Joe and Carrie Traylor Warfield. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

  • Cecil W. Greenwood, 68

    Cecil Wayne Greenwood, 68, of St. Charles, Mo., died Sunday, June 14, 2009.

    Services were Thursday, June 18, at St, Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville.

    Mr. Greenwood was born July 10, 1940, in Madison, Ind., to the late Albert and Doris Greenwood. He married the former Fauna M. Boggs.

    Retired, he was a former employee of Boeing and McDonnell Douglas, for whom he traveled the world.

  • Ruby Perry McManis, 81

    Ruby Perry McManis, 81, died July 5, 2009, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky. She was a resident at BeeHive Homes in Carrollton, formerly of Turners Station, Ky.

    Services were July 8, 2009, at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg, Ky., with the Revs. Earl Wayne Perry, Carl Rucker and Donnie Lewis officiating. Burial was in Turners Station Cemetery.

    Mrs. McManis was born Dec. 29, 1927, in Henry County to the late Arthur and Nora Tingle Perry.  She married Roy Lee McManis.

  • William Trigg Liter, 86

    William Trigg Liter, 86, Madison, Ind., died Saturday, July 11, 2009, at the home of his daughter in Huntington, W.Va.

    Services are 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 15, at Morgan and Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive, Madison, with Dr. Randy Jungkurth officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service.

    Burial will be in Bayless Cemetery in Madison, Ind.

    Cleo E. Roseberry, 76, of Madison, Ind., died Sunday July 12, 2009, at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison.

    Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at Morgan and Nay Funeral Centre in Madison, with Dr. Clyde Angel and the Rev. Mike Hamby officiating. Burial will be in Moffett Cemetery in Milton.

    Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 15, and tomorrow from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

  • Estella Mae Richmond, 89

    Estella Mae Richmond, 89, of Bedford, Ky., died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at her residence.

    Mrs. Richmond was born Jan. 12, 1920, in Trimble County, Ky., to Harry and Eliza Henry Sanders.

    She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Carrollton. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and fishing, and spending time with her family.

    Survivors include a son, Ronnie (Shirley) Richmond of Bedford; a daughter, Brenda (Bud) Skaggs of Carroll County; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two nieces.

  • Estella Mae Richmond, 89

    BEDFORD, Ky.- Estella Mae Richmond, 89, died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at her residence.

    Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 7 at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Bobby Wade officiating. Burial was in the Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery in Campbellsburg, Ky.

    Mrs. Richmond was born January 12, 1920, in Trimble County to the late Harry and Eliza Henry Sanders.

    She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Carrollton. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren,  crocheting, gardening and fishing.

  • Edward T. Mitchell, 58

    LaGrange, Ky. – Edward T. Mitchell, 58, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

    Cremation was chosen by the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Oldham County Funeral Home, 706 W. Jefferson St., in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Mitchell was born Nov. 10, 1950 in Indiana to the late Roy and Jamyla Donica Mitchell.

    He was a retired brick layer for Mitchell Masonry.

  • Terry Lee Boldery, 57

    Terry Lee Boldery, 57, Madison, Ind., died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at King’s Daughters’ Hospital.

    Mr. Boldery was born Dec. 11, 1951, in Madison to James Chester and Mary Frances Boldery Carroll. He was a former member of volunteer fire and rescue departments in Carroll and Trimble counties. He enjoyed fishing.

    Survivors include his mother; three sisters, Veronica Phillips of Deputy, Ind., Frances Hendren of Madison and Carol Boldery of Milton, Ky.; a brother, Anthony Carroll, Madison; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

  • Thurman R. “Roach” Cottrell, 70

    CARROLLTON, Ky. – Thurman R. “Roach” Cottrell, 70, of Carrollton died Friday, July 3, 2009, at Carroll County Hospital in Carrollton.

    Funeral services were Tuesday, July, 7 at Tandy, Eckler, Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave., Carrollton with Rev. Andrew Oakley officiating. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

    Mr. Cottrell was born July 29, 1938, in Prestonville, Ky. to the late Herman and Effie Harsin Cottrell. He was of the Baptist faith.
