    Kimberly spent her career in the retail and nursing industries.

    Pamela Ann Griffin Stanton Ehrnreiter, 53, of Milton, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012 at the Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover, Ind.

    Pam entered this life on July 16, 1959 in Madison, Ind. She was the daughter of Charles Robert Griffin and Lois Abbott Boulton.

    Nancy Lee Fugate Ball 69, of Bedford, died at her home on Nov. 7, 2012.  Nancy was born in Campbellsburg, Ky., on Jan. 10, 1943 to Evert Fugate and Martha Tiller Fugate.   

    Survivors include a daughter, Tambra Lee Ball Fox, Bedford; sisters Shirley Sutherland, Betty Stark and Brenda Christian, all of Bedford; brother Bobby Fugate, Bedford; two grandchildren Scotty Fox, Bedford, and Cherie Tuttle of Sanders, Ky.; and seven great-grandchildren.

    Caroline Elizabeth Tuttle, 3, of Sanders, Carroll County, Ky., died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, in Carrollton, Ky.

    Funeral Services were held Friday, Nov. 2, at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton with the Rev. Joe Kindoll officiating. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton was entrusted with the arrangements.

    Mary Gladys Simmons Smith, 88, Bedford, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012,  at Carroll County Memorial Hospital. Mary was born in Trimble County to the late Walter Simmons and Maude Kidwell Simmons on May 13, 1924.  

    Survivors include two sons, Brian Smith, Don Smith, both of Bedford; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

    Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Andrew, three brothers and two sisters.

    Survivors include her husband, Jesse Spears, Shelbyville; daughters, Tina Spears, New Castle; Jessica Spears, Bedford; a sister, Mary Harbaugh, Corydon, Ind.; two grandsons and two nephews.

    Funeral services were Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Burial was in Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville.

    Millicent “Penny” Abbott Sparks 91, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at her residence in Sulphur, KY. She was born on Nov. 3, 1920 to the late Joseph and Cleo Herring Abbott in Corpus Christi, Texas.

    Survivors include her three children; Gloria Miller of Long Beach, CA, Jesse Slocum of FL and Jerry Slocum of Sulphur; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

    Her parents and her husband William R. “Peanuts” Sparks preceded Penny in death.

    Edith Laverne May Smith 80, Bedford, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at Baptist Hospital NE in LaGrange. Born July 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gathia Brown May in Henry County, KY.

    Survivors include three sons, Orville Wayne Smith, David Earl Smith, Melvin Leon Smith, all of Bedford; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and other relatives.

    Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years Orville William Smith, her brothers, sisters and one grandson-in-law.
