    Mary Louise Tingle Brent, 86, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at her residence in Trimble County.

    Born April 1, 1926, she was the only daughter of the late Clifford Adams and Lorena Tingle Adams.
    Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg.

    Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Ransdell Funeral Home in Campbellsburg with the Rev. Earl Wayne Perry officiating.

    Burial will be in the Port Royal, Ky. Cemetery.

    Anna Katherine Louden Blatz, 87, formerly of Bedford, born Sept. 10, 1924, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Niles, Michigan.

    Cremation was chosen at Halbritter Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Announcement will be in this paper.

    Survivors include a son, Richard Bauman, two granddaughters, Michelle Bauman Cook, Lorrie Bauman Kinkade,  and one great-granddaughter, Ashley Croucher.

    A private graveside service was held. Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford, was in charge of arrangements.

    He was born in Trimble County on Nov. 27, 1921 to the late Grover and Edna Aldridge.

    A graveside service was held at noon on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Carrollton with the Rev. Ferrill Davis officiating.
    Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton was in charge of arrangements.

    Born Oct. 14, 1921 in Trimble County, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Pearl Supplee Lawrence.

    Visitation is today, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Milton United Methodist Church.

    Services are today, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Milton United Methodist Church with burial in Moffett Cemetery.

    The family requests sexpressions of sympathy go to the United Methodist Church building fund.
    Born in Trimble County on Feb. 14, 1914, she was the daughter of James and Giles Hancock Wood.

  • Marvin Gribbins, Jr., 50

    Marvin Reed Gribbins Jr. 50, died Monday, March 26, 2012 in Trimble County. He was born on October 15, 1961 to the late Marvin Reed Sr. and Mary Cozart Gribbins in Louisville.

    Services were Friday, March 30, 2012 at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford Ky. The Reverend Aaron Snelling officiated the service. Burial was in the Bedford Cemetery.

    Survivors include his wife of 31 years Kathy Ann Young Gribbins; a son Steven Gribbins, Madison, Ind; a daughter Amie Gribbins, Bedford; one granddaughter and other relatives.

  • Minnie Mae Hammond Payton, 81

    Minnie Mae (Hammond) Payton, 81, New Castle died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Claude Arnold & Mary Lillian (Miles) Hammond and preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Holcomb; sister, Luella Landers and brother, James Hammond.

    Dallas Howard “Casey” Imel, 77, of Madison died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at The Waters of Clifty Falls, Madison.

    Services were Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, Madison, Ind. with Rev. Richard McDole officiating. Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion, conducted a Final Salute.

     Burial was in Grandview Memorial Gardens near Madison, Ind. Military honors were conducted at the graveside by Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion

    Chester Lee Calvert, 85, of Bedford died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Signature Health Care in Bedford.

    Funeral services along with Masonic services were held March 22 at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, in Carrollton with the Rev. Carl Rucker officiating. The family chose cremation.

    Mr. Calvert was born Oct. 23, 1926, in Trimble County to the late Lawrence and Clara Spillman Calvert. He was a farmer and had worked at Big Burley and Growers Tobacco Warehouses. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, World War II.
