    Juanita Morse, 90, Milton died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Waters of Clifty Falls.

    Born Aug. 26, 1921 in Frankfort, Ky, she was the daughter of Mace and Lillian McCord Gordon.

    Survivors include three daughters, JoAnn Lawson, Milton, Janice Wingham, Fort Mill, S. Carolina, Vicki Kelly, Jacksonville, Fla; one brother; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

    Ellen Louise Ormes, 87, went from Hosparus (Norton’s) to Heaven on June 13, 2012.

    She was born on Dec. 29, 1924 to Lillian and John Perry, who with all of her brothers and sisters have preceded her in death. Also, her husband, Phillip and beloved children, Ellen Marie and Phil preceded her in death.

    Ellen is survived by her loving children, Phyllis, Bedford, Carol, Tenn., Robert, Milton, Williams, Louisville; grandkids, Christopher, Mark Alex, Holly, Paul, John and David; several great grandkids including Matt, Mark Alex II, Hayden and Noah.

    Rosemarie Sophia Veldkamp Wilson Riley, 79, died Tuesday, June 19th, 2012.

    She was born April 16, 1933, in Marburg, West Germany.

    Survivors include her children, daughter Odell Compton, sons Anderson Wilson, Bakersfield, Calif. and Ken E. Wilson, Brandenburg; 10 grandchildren and13 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were conducted at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, Saturday, June 23, 2012.

    Charles Edward Persell, 87, Bedford, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born March 8, 1925 in Carroll Co, Ky., to the late Charlie Wesley and Georgia Bell Mershall Persell.

    He served his country faithfully during World War II in the U.S. Army.

    Darian was a student of Henry County High School. She was a member of the LaGrange Assembly of God and was preceded in death by her father, Michael Ray Davidson. Darian was cremated.

    Survivors include her mother, Katrina Wardrup, Milton; sisters, Victoria Tankersley & Haylie Davidson, Milton; aunts, Angel, Karen, Vicki, Melissa, Julie & Robin; uncles, Johnny, Bradley, Larry & Tracey.

    Donald Ray “Donnie” Clark Sr., age 48, Milton, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born March 13, 1964 in Ashland, Ky., and was the son of Howard and Joann Burch Clark.

    Ruth E. Griffin Albert, age 82, Madison, died Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Hanover Health and Rehabilitation Center.

    Born March 20, 1930 in Madison, Ind., she was the daughter of Delbert and Helen (Meek) Griffin, who preceded her in death. Her husband, Meredith L. Albert also preceded her in death.

    Rev. Troy Hedges conducted funeral services Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Vail-Holt Funeral & Cremation Service, with interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

    Born Feb. 22, 1953 in Madison, he was the son of Junior “Dee” Dwight and Elizabeth “Betty” J. Ackerman Monroe.

    GOSHEN, Ky. –William R. “Sug” McAlister, 74, of Goshen, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at his residence.

    Funeral services will be Thursday, June 14, at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton with the Rev. Gary MaGuffee and the Rev. Carroll “Bimp” McAlister officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday, June 14, at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
