  • Harold Edward Aubrey, 61

    Harold Edward Aubrey, 61 of Milton, Ky. died Sunday, October 12, 2014 at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Ind.
    He is survived by his wife Tina Polly Aubrey, one son Austin Aubrey of Milton, three sisters, Virginia Harper of Madison, Ind., Donna Harper of Woodward, Okla., and Brenda Harper of Madison, Ind., two brothers, James Harper and Bobby Harper both of Madison, Ind. He was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Harper, and his parents.

  • Layne C. Brown, 79

    Layne C. Brown, 79, of Yuma, Arizona, died at his residence on September 24, 2014.
    He was born in Trimble County on May 23, 1935, to Charles Brown and Elva Crafton Brown. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Lane enjoyed spending time with his family. He retired from the Yuma Proving Ground in 1993 and was a United States Marine Corp veteran.

  • Cecil Hartman Sutherland, 73

    Cecil Hartman Sutherland, 73 of Bedford, died Oct. 8, 2014 in Webster County, Mo. He was born on Oct. 15, 1940 to the late Ashby Sutherland and Hallie Richmond Sutherland in Bedford.
    Cecil is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Sutherland of Bedford; his children: Clinton D. Sutherland of Bedford, Kim A. Vittitow of Bedford, Odon A. Sutherland of McAlister, Okla.; his brothers and sisters: Mable Smith of Bedford, and Minnie Payton of Louisville; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

  • Henry Carroll ‘Hank’ Mattick, 68

    Henry Carroll Mattick, 68 of Campbellsburg, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange. He was born to Fred and Naomi Clark Mattick in LaGrange. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
    He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ami Marie Hancock Mattick; and a brother, Fred C. Mattick, of Whitleyville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Funeral services were held Friday, June 20 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg, with burial in the New Castle Cemetery.

    Samuel is survived by, his children: Ammee Abbott  and Samantha Weaver of Bedford, Ky., his brothers and sisters; Patricia Roberts of Campbellsburg, Ky., Chester Abbott of Bedford, Ky., Raymond Abbott of Milton, Ky., Melvin Abbott of Campbellsburg, Ky., and Carol Sue Hettinger of LaGrange, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents.

  • Charles Eugene Fox, 83

    POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Charles Eugene Fox, 83, of Pompano Beach, formerly of Milton, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014.
    Funeral services were held Monday, May 19, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave., in Carrollton with the Rev. Dr. Chris White officiating. Burial was in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton.

    Curtis N. "Curt" Reynolds, Sr., 54, of Madison, Ind. died Monday, April 14, 2014 at Baptist Health Hospital, Louisville, Ky.

     

    Curtis is survived by his wife, Alfrieda Kay Hamilton Reynolds of Madison, Ind., his two daughters, Deidre Reynolds of Pittsburgh, Penn., Becky Ashby Stinsman of Aurora, Co.; three sons, Curtis "Scoot" Reynolds, Jr. of Madison, Ind., Jason Rozycki of Murraysville, Penn., Robbie Ashby of Madison, Ind.

    Christopher “Chris” Allen Carder, 49

    Christopher “Chris” Allen Carder passed away at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, GA on Sunday, April 13, 2014 after a brave battle with cancer. Chris was born on August 20, 1965 in Carrollton, Ky. to Jack Carder and Joann (Pryor) Carder Parker.  He is survived by his wife, Donna, daughters Caroline and Claire, as well as his siblings Carla Carder Knack and Jack Carder.

    William Pulliam, 74, of Milton, died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at his residence.
    Survivors include his wife Carolyn Mikesell Pulliam, and two sons, Jesse Pulliam of Madison, Ind. and Scott Pulliam of Deputy, Ind.
    He was preceded in death by one brother Tommy Pulliam and his parents.
    Services were held Wed., April 16 at Wood-Oakley Funeral Home with burial in Moffett Cemetery.
