    PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.—Beth Sigua Beard, 45, of Pigeon Forge, formerly of Milton, Ky., died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at her residence in Pigeon Forge.
    A Memorial Service was held Monday, March 23, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave., in Carrollton with the Rev. Deek Dubberly officiating. Cremation was chosen by the family.

  • Ricky Carl Hayes, 57

    BEDFORD, Ky.—Ricky Carl Hayes, 57 of Bedford, died March 19, 2015 at his home.  
    Ricky was born in Carrollton on Dec. 5, 1957 to William Albert and Helen Lee Justice Hayes.
    He is survived by his children: Shonnie L. Hayes of Bedford, and Billy J. Hayes (Trista) of Bedford; his siblings: Nena Mann (Rev. Orville) of Milton, Bonnie Wells (Eddie) of Louisville; Mike Hayes of Bedford, and his best friend Gene Wingham; and four grandchildren.  
    He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother James Hayes and one infant sister Darlene Hayes.

  • Mary Joyce Frazier Hensley, 52

    CARROLLTON, Ky.—Mary Joyce (Frazier) Hensley, age 52 of Carrollton, died Thursday, March 19, 2015 in her home.Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Aline (Combs) Frazier.
    She is survived by her father, Allen Frazier of Carrollton; two sisters: Carol Moore and Donna Brewer, both of Carrollton; one brother, Terry Frazier (Cindy) of Bedford and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral service was held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Billy Wilson of Carrollton.

  • Emmit Dexter Manning, Sr., 79

    exter Manning, Sr., 79 of Milton, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, Ind. He was born in Aberdeen, Ohio on Jan. 26, 1936 the son of Emmit Manning, Sr. and Anna Zola Arnold Manning Young. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War.

  • Frances M. Patterson, 72

    BEDFORD, Ky.—Frances M. (Tucker) Patterson, age 72 of Bedford, died Friday, March 6, 2015 at Norton Audubon Hospital, Louisville. She was a native of Sulphur. She was the daughter of the late John Everett and Rebecca Susan (Adkins) Tucker.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Floyd Patterson and two sisters, Clare Gividen and Alberta Carson.

  • Charles F. ‘Fred’ Storie, 92

    MADISON, Ind.—Charles F. “Fred” Storie, 92 of Madison died
    Saturday, March 7, 2015, at The Waters of Clifty Falls, Madison.
    He was born Nov. 27, 1922 in Moorefield, Ind., the son of James Carl and Dorothy Stewart Storie. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
    He is survived by his step daughters, Marilyn Hale of College Corner, Ohio, and Norma Oberman of Crothersville, Ind.; his caregivers, Jamie and Scott Lutes of Madison, Ind.; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

  • Charles O. May, 82

    BEDFORD-, Ky.—Charles O. May, 82 of Bedford, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton. He was born in Trimble County on June 20, 1932, the son of Charles and Hallie Harmon May.
    He is survived by his wife, Rawena Aldridge May, three sons: Jeff May, Paul Scott May and Charles May, all of Milton; two brothers: Paul Sidney May of Carrollton and Warren May of Berea; two sisters: Barbara Reed of North Carolina and Eva Loring of New Castle; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

    CARROLL COUNTY, Ky.—Minnie A. Proctor, 76 of Carroll County, died Friday, Feb. 19, 2015 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton. She was born in Carrollton on Sept. 8, 1938 the daughter of Robert Wesley and Ruby Sharp Law.

  • Jessie Jewell Ginn Roederer, 91

    HENDERSON, Ky.—Jessie Roederer, age 91 of Henderson, passed away Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Roederer in 1999, her parents, Carley Edward and Faynola Wallace Ginn and siblings, Robert Ginn, Mary Jo Cameron, Wanda Woods and Fay Powell.
    Jessie graduated in 1943 from Bryant & Stratton Business College in Louisville. She was bookkeeper for Sureway (Malone & Hyde Co.) for 23 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
