    Carlin Sarah Davis, 16 of Milton, died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at her home. She was born in Greensburg, Ind., on July 14, 1998.
    Survivors include her father John Curran of Cincinnati, Ohio her mother Amy Davis of Milton; one sister Zada Lutz of Muncie, Ind.; her maternal grandparents Wayne and Cindy Vanosdol of Holton, Ind., along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

  • Donna Maria ‘Dee’ Mattingly, 54

    Donna Maria “Dee” Mattingly, 54 of Bedford, died Monday, June 30, 2014.
    Donna was preceded in death by her parents, George and Jane Moll Krimple. She is survived by her sister, Mary “C.C.” Casebier.
    As per her wishes, her body has been cremated and there will be no service.
    The Cremation Society of Kentucky, Louisville, was in charge of arrangements.

    Emma Louise Rowlett Brown, 80 of Bedford, died on July 18, 2014 at Thornton Terrace in Hanover, Ind. She was born on May 3, 1934 in Bedford, to the late Ivy Clinton and Myrtle Grace Bell Rowlett.
    Emma is survived by her husband of 60 years James William Brown, two children; Larry W. Brown of Bedford and Teresa A. Tody of Milton; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a cousin Margaret Wright of Georgia.
    She is preceded in death by her beloved parents and one brother, Donald Ray Rowlett.

    Robert Brian Harmon, 48 died at his residence on Sunday, July 20, 2014 in Bedford. Robert was born on July 26, 1965 in Carrollton, to the late Robert Dennis Harmon and Emma McCane Harmon.  
    Robert is survived by two children: Brittany N. Harlow of Carrollton and Seth Bryan Harmon of Ghent; his mother Emma McCane Harmon; his brothers and sisters: Carol Ann Harmon of Carrollton, Tx.; Rhonda Harmon of New Castle and James Dennis Harmon of Bedford.
    Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert Harmon and one sister Melissa Temple.

    Traci Dawn Ward Leach, 46 formerly of Bedford, died at The King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Ind., on July 17, 2014. She was born August 16, 1967 to Eloise Mae Crafton Reed of Carrollton, and to the late Melvin R. Ward, Jr.
    She leaves to mourn her passing her companion Kenneth Lockridge, her children Austin P. Leach of Bedford, Dusty C. Leach and Ashley M. Leach both of Madison, Ind., Lillie G. Lockridge, Rose G. Lockridge and Kenneth C. Lockridge, all of Madison, Ind.; her mother Eloise Mae Crafton Reed of Madison, Ind.

    She was born on July 20, 1943 in Milton to Robert and Violet Mahoney Carter.

    Clara Mae Hoffmann Sommer, 88 of Madison, Ind., died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at her home. She was born on Sept. 21, 1925 in Madison, Ind., to Edward C. and Ethel Alexander Hoffmann.
    She is survived by her daughters, Judy Sommer of Louisville, Connie Wolf of Madison, Ind., Cindy Long of Hanover, Ind.; her son, Mike Sommer of Madison, Ind.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; a brother, Phil Hoffmann of Palmetto, Fla.

    Barbara Carol Gross Watson, 80 of Fishers, Ind., formerly of Trimble County and Madison, Friday, July 18, 2014 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.
    She was born on June 16, 1934 in Milton to George and Bernice Burkhardt Gross.
    She is survived by her son, Greg Watson of Fishers, Ind.; two sisters, Georgia Ann Long and Dorothy Hamilton, both of Milton; three brothers, Bernie Gross, Bob Gross and Doug Gross, all of Milton; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

  • Henry Carroll ‘Hank’ Mattick, 68

    Henry Carroll Mattick, 68 of Campbellsburg, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange. He was born to Fred and Naomi Clark Mattick in LaGrange. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
    He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ami Marie Hancock Mattick; and a brother, Fred C. Mattick, of Whitleyville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Funeral services were held Friday, June 20 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg, with burial in the New Castle Cemetery.
