A severe thunderstorm struck Bedford Saturday night. Some say, and it was reported on a Louisville television station that a small twister touched down here. Trees were uprooted and limbs taken off and scattered all around Bedford and surrounding districts. Little damage was done to buildings. However, there was extensive damage to the roof of Dow Dunlap’s home on Town Branch allowing interior damage from the subsequent rain.
