The Bedford Rotary Club welcomed both current District Governor Stuart Alexander and Assistant Governor JoAnn Hepperman to our club meeting on Dec. 6.  This is an annual event our club looks forward to and prepares for. The meeting was very upbeat and, like governors before, Alexander was aware of Bedford Rotary’s important involvement in many service activities for our community. We seem to be ahead of the many clubs in our district in this regard, as Alexander noted.

  • Just as soon as I thought that I had finally taken my most humiliating picture, along came the passport photo requirement. I went to the post office to apply for this document with that familiar, sinking sensation I experience whenever a camera is pointed in my direction. My image ranges from goofy to ghastly; I simply do not know what happens within the recesses of the camera. Whatever it is, it’s nightmarish.
