    Signature Healthcare will be hosting a community flu shot clinic, sponsored by CVS pharmacy, from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. at Signature Healthcare of Trimble Co., 50 Shepherd Lane Bedford, Ky. CVS pharmacy will administer the shots and will bill any insurance plans that you have.  Those without insurance will have a fee.

  • Health insurance coverage is a top priority for many people.  Medicare is health insurance available for people over the age of 65 as well as those under the age of 65 with certain disabilities. 

  • Harvest time is at hand for corn and soybeans. Equipment and tools are valuable to any farming operation. They allow farmers to do jobs easier and quicker and many times, are costly investments. Recently, they’ve became attractive targets to thieves across the state including Trimble County. The high price of scrap metal and copper along with a down economy may be contributing factors.

  • Trimble County High School senior Daniel Haney has been named a Commended Student in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program, Principal Stirling Sampson has announced. A letter of commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program, will be presented to this scholastically talented senior.

    Southern Health Services in Atlanta, Ga. are soliciting the people of Trimble County to help approve certificate of need for 120-bed hospital in Oldham County.
