The death of a daughter, five siblings, both of our mothers and my father had made us realize the importance of cherishing memories of our times with them.

  • Gary Greenwood of Milton received an award for finishing first in his age group at the recent Climb Louisville Fight for Air Climb in Louisville.

    Greenwood completed the climb in seven minutes 44 seconds. The climb involved 38 floors (780 steps) at the National City Tower in downtown Louisville. The National City Tower is the second-tallest building in Kentucky.

    Greenwood’s time was 23rd best of 210 participants. It is the second year in a row he has won his age group. This year he finished 11 spots higher overall than last year.

    Trimble County Hymn Sing will be held at 7 p.m. at the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Wise’s Landing with Pastor Gregg Fisher presiding.
