    The drought of 2010 was extremely hard on Trimble County pastures and hayfields. Now is the optimal time to consider renovating these fields.
    To be sure you use legume varieties that will perform well in your area, call the Trimble County Cooperative Extension Service office at (502) 255-7188 for the results of forage variety trials from the University of Kentucky’s College of Agriculture.
    These trials, among others, will help you pick the best varieties for your particular operation.

  • What's Happening in Trimble County

    Wednesday, Feb. 16

    Trimble CARES meets at noon in the Family Resouce and Youth Services Center at Trimble County High School. Lunch provided.
    The Trimble County Board of Education meets at 6 p.m. at the board office on Wentworth Drive, Bedford.
    The annual Youth Spaghetti Dinner is 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Morgan Community Center. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children 11 and younger. Proceeds will be used to help send young people to the General Assembly this summer.
