Trimble County Middle School Principal Mike Genton has announced the school’s 7th Grade Students of the Month for August and the Teacher/Staff Spotlight.
“We are extemely proud of these people and their hard work,” Genton said.
LOUISVILLE, Ky.– Out-of-school youth, ages 16-21, in Trimble County now can get tutoring assistance and financial incentives to complete their GEDs through the expanded services of the KentuckianaWorks Youth Career Center. Young adults in the county also can explore financial assistance for college and job training, receive career counseling and get help applying for college and job training.
The staff of Trimble County Middle School would like to recognize the following Students of the Month, Teacher of the Month, and Staff Member of the Month. If you see these folks please congratulate them. TCMS is proud of the students and staff and all their hard work and dedication.
The Trimble County Arts Council is sponsoring the Judith Pratt Shields Memorial Exhibition during the month of October at the Trimble County Public Library.
Local artists are invited to enter their work for judging in the exhibition. Two awards are being offered: The Judith Shields Award of $50, and the Robert Tribble Award for Best of Show, $100.
Philip Morris International Management SA, a subsidiary of Philip Morris International Inc., is delighted to be awarding an educational scholarship to Sara Kate Long of Milton.
Sara Kate will attend University of Kentucky this fall and plans to study Animal Science. She is the daughter of Randy and Karen Long of Milton.
