Trimble County High School graduate Jenna Underhill will be featured in the title role in the upcoming musical docudrama “When Jenny Lind Came to Town.” The production will be presented Friday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 14, at 3 p.m., at the Fitzgibbon Recital Hall at the Lynn Center for Fine Arts on the Hanover College campus.
Trimble County Middle School Principal Mike Genton has announced the school’s 7th Grade Students of the Month for August and the Teacher/Staff Spotlight.
“We are extemely proud of these people and their hard work,” Genton said.
LOUISVILLE, Ky.– Out-of-school youth, ages 16-21, in Trimble County now can get tutoring assistance and financial incentives to complete their GEDs through the expanded services of the KentuckianaWorks Youth Career Center. Young adults in the county also can explore financial assistance for college and job training, receive career counseling and get help applying for college and job training.

The Trimble County Arts Council is sponsoring the Judith Pratt Shields Memorial Exhibition during the month of October at the Trimble County Public Library.
Local artists are invited to enter their work for judging in the exhibition. Two awards are being offered: The Judith Shields Award of $50, and the Robert Tribble Award for Best of Show, $100.
