Katherine (Kate) Jean Scott graduated cum laude from Northern Kentucky University on Dec. 12, 2015 with a B.A. in Accounting and three minors: Business Administration, Business Informatics and Finance. She graduated with 150 credit hours and is eligible to take the exam to become a Certified Public Accountant.
Scott is presently employed as an IT internal auditor at Western and Southern Financial Group in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Kate is the daughter of Troy and Christi Scott, Florence, Ky., and the granddaughter of Betty Scott Delph of Bedford.
Trimble CARES Coalition is hosting a “CARES FOR LIFE 5K Run/Walk” in the city of Bedford on Saturday, April 16, 2016. This run/walk is to bring unity to Trimble County and take a stand against substance use and cancer!
Organizers say this will be a large substance-free event. Activities for children will be available as well as substance abuse and primary health resources.
All proceeds will benefit “Trimble County Relay for Life” and “Trimble CARES Coalition.”
LEXINGTON, KY - The Kentucky 4-H Foundation is asking farmers to make the $10 Ag Tag donation in the month of March as they renew their farm license plates at their county clerk’s office. When Kentucky farmers make their donations they are providing Kentucky 4-Hers in every county opportunities to develop leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Starting March 15, Kentuckians can visit participating libraries to compete in an investor education and protection program and contest called DASH for the STASH.
The contest takes place March 15-May 15, 2016, and is being launched in Kentucky by the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions and the nonprofit Investor Protection Institute. The two organizations will present one statewide winner with a $1,000 prize to open or add to a retirement investment account for 2016.
