  • Trimble High celebrates the arts with Artapalooza

    April twentieth, two thousand seventeen Trimble County High School students were given the opportunity to allow their spectacular artistic talents to shine during the school’s annual Artapalooza. The event features visual arts, drama, culinary arts, vocalists and instrumentalists. Each year, Bonnie Peugeot Meadows organizes a fabulous evening full of rich cultural arts.

  • Teacher Spotlight: Dennie Brierly

    Mr. Dennie Brierly is someone I speak to on a daily basis. Despite the fact that I haven’t been enrolled in one of his classes since my freshman year, he still stops me to say hello whenever or wherever I see him. No matter if I bump into him in the hall or happen to see him on the street somewhere, Mr. Brierly is constantly smiling and asking me how I’m doing.

  • Job and Career Fair planned May 2

    On Tuesday, May 2, there will be a Job and Career Fair in the Trimble County High School gymnasium. There will be Door Prizes for adults in attendance. Parents of students in the Trimble County Schools are invited from 12-4:30. The public is invited from 3:30 to 4:30. Parents of students in the Trimble County Schools are invited from 12-4:30.  7th – 12th grades will be attending at various times from 12-3.   • Bedford Springs hosts singing duo Sunday

    Bedford Springs Church at 43 Shepherd Lane, across from Signature Health Care, is hosting the singing group South of Heaven Sunday, April 23rd, at 11 a.m. during church services.  South of Heaven was named the 2016 Southern Gospel Duet of the Year and has been nominated again this year.  Everyone is invited to share in this worship experience.

    Representative Rick Rand (D-Bedford), our representative for the 47th House District of Kentucky, took time from his busy schedule to address the Bedford Rotary Club on key happenings of the recent Kentucky General Assembly, which completed its 30-day session on March 30. Rand’s annual visit to our club is always valued—especially our opportunity to engage in a question and answer period Rick always takes time for.

    The Trimble County Fair Board has announced the dates for the 2017 Trimble County Fair. This year’s Trimble County Fair will be held beginning Monday, June 19 and continuing through Saturday, June 24.
