    Church to host Baltic missionary Oct. 15
    Apostolic Pentecostal Church of the Living God, 124 Smith Lane in Bedford has invited Missionary Jordan Stumbo from the Baltic Nations in Russia, to speak, 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15. He will talk about his mission in the Baltic Nations. He is originally from Medora, Ind. and has been in the Baltic Nations with his parents for several years.

    COVINGTON, KY – Nearly 200 city officials from across the state were recognized for their educational achievement during the City Officials Training Center (COTC) Awards Program at the 2017 KLC Conference & Expo on October 4, 2017. The annual conference drew in nearly 500 city officials and leaders from across the commonwealth.

  • Banner editor guest speaker at Milton High reunion Sunday

    Dave Taylor, Managing Editor of The Trimble Banner and local history buff, will be the guest speaker for the annual Milton High School Black and Gold Reunion. The reunion is scheduled for Sunday, October 15, at 12:00 p.m., at the Pines Restaurant’s back room in Madison, Indiana.

  • Carrollton Guard Vietnam vets to hold reunion Oct. 14 at Cton

    On Oct. 13, 1968, soldiers from Alpha Battery, 2nd Battalion, 138th Artillery, Kentucky Army National Guard, located in Carrollton, were deployed to Vietnam. Almost 49 years later, the unit will reunite Saturday, Oct. 14, at the National Guard Armory.
    Organizer Jerry Oak of Trimble County was a Specialist 4 when the unit was deployed to Vietnam. He served 21 years in the National Guard (1967-1989) and retired as a major.

    Celebration Services scheduled at Bedford Springs Church this weekend
    Bedford Springs Church will host Celebration Services, Friday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 1. Services on Friday and Saturday will begin at 7 p.m. The Sunday service on Oct. 1 will begin at 11 a.m.
    The speaker for the services will be Pastor Kenny Evans. Special music will be provided each service, including Rebekah Murphy on Friday, Helen Mumphrey on Saturday and Reid Moore on Sunday morning along with other special guests.

  • Milton Baptist Church to host gospel quartet

    Milton Baptist Church will present the Woodsmen Quartet in Concert on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. The quartet is a Southern Gospel group based in Batesville, Indiana. They have been together for 10 years, traveling and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The concert will be preceded by a free fish fry at 5:00 p.m. The public is invited.
