Anita Wentworth and Donald Rowlett were married Jan. 20, 1961, at Bedford Christian Church with the Rev. Herman Rowlett, uncle of the groom, officiating.
A reception hosted by their children will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, to honor the couple at their Rowlett Lane home.
The couple has three children, Gina Ball, David C. Rowlett and Doug Rowlett, and four grandchildren.

Autumn Chamness of Frankfort announces the birth of her son, Gaige Mayson Chamness.
Gaige was born Dec. 21, 2010, in Frankfort Regional Medical Center. weighing 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and measuring 19 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Vicki Gaither of Bedford and the late John Chamness.
Pre-schoolers at the Trimble County Public Library Storytime got an extra-special surprise Dec. 15 when Santa came to visit. After telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas, each child received a package of Reindeer Food and a hardback children’s book donated by the Southeastern Medical Alliance. This is the second year the Alliance has donated children’s books to the library’s smallest patrons.
Frankfort genealogy researcher Donna Stark has completed a new book, entitled “Civil War Obituaries,” featuring death notices of men from Trimble County who fought in the war.
The book cover features the likeness and obituary of Sen. William O. Coleman, who was wounded in the war.
The 24-page book features the original obituaries of each soldier, with four to six obituaries per page.
Stark also is offering “People and Places of Trimble County,” Volume II.
J.D. Fisher celebrated his birthday on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010.
He is the son of Hannah and Jimmy Fisher of Indianapolis, Ind. His grandparents are Alan and Suzanne Sachleben of Bedford, Ky.; Jim and Kim Fisher of Whitestown, Ind.; and Rae and Johnny Huff of Avon, Ind.
Jefferson Community and Technical College student Trent Mullikin was presented Nov. 17 with a $2,000 “Tools for Tomorrow”scholarship from W.W. Grainger at the Carrollton campus. Only 150 scholarships are given each year by Grainger, and only two of those go to students in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. Mullikin, a Trimble county resident, is in the engineering technology program at JCTC Carrollton. Upon graduation, Mullikin also will receive $1,000 worth of tools from Grainger to help him begin his career.
Bedford Postmaster Denise Dewitt invites the public to an open house to honor Bob Webb, who is retiring as a mail carrier for the Bedford area after more than 30 years on the job.
The event will include cake, punch and coffee for guests from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the post office.
