Melinda McKee Clyde of Cynthiana, Ky. and Christopher Noel Greenwood of Milton. announce their engagement and approaching wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dr. James Stephen and Betsy Clyde of Cynthiana Ky. She is a 2004 graduate of Transylvania University with a bachelor’s degree and a 2009 graduate of Georgetown College with a master’s degree. She is employed as the gifted and talented coordinator with the Fr. Thomas School system.
Ronald and Shirley Clifton Richmond will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 3, 2011.
They have lived their 50 years of marriage in Trimble County. They have two children, Ruth Richmond and David (Cindy) Richmond, six grandchildren: Sara, Matthew, Aaron, Andrew, Katie and Scott (Joyce) and two great grandchildren: Kole and C.J.
The children are honoring their parents with a small celebration at the couple’s home.

Missionary evangelists Don and Doris Carver, Louisville, will be the guest ministers at New Life Assembly of God Church, 266 Church Street, in Bedford. The service is scheduled for Sunday, May 29, at 10:30 a.m., according to the Rev. Ralph Yantz, Pastor.
There will be special singing, preaching of the gospel and an opportunity for everyone to receive Christ as Lord and Savior. Prayer will be offered for the sick. Come with an expectation to receive from God.
