Eizabeth F. McKinney-Mehas of Bedford has made the Dean’s List every semester for four years at Lindsay Wilson College.
To be eligible for the academic honor, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade average carrying a full-time class load of at least 12 credit hours during a semester.
Founded in 1903, Lindsey Wilson is a liberal arts college affiliated with the Kentucky Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church.

Jeremiah & Christina (Albert) McClellan wish to announce the birth of their daughter, Scarlett Daneen McClellan. Scarlett was born on February 15, 2012 at Baptist NorthEast Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs and 6 ozs and was 20 ½ inches long.
Trimble County Middle School Pricipal Mike Genton has recognized the TCMS 8th Grade Students of the Month and the Teacher and Staff Spotlight for March.
Gabrielle Murray is the 8th Grade Female Student of the Month. Gabby’s favorite class at TCMS is Math. Gabby is a member of the band at school and also participates in marching band. Gabby’s favorite book is The Halo Series, and her favorite TV show is “Big Brother.” After high school Gabby plans to attend Morehead State University and become a veterinarian.
“Bob’s Bunch Battling ALS” will hold a fundraiser at the Morgan Community Center in Bedford on Saturday, April 14. The tornado that struck the Milton Fire Station No. 2 on March 2 forced the cancellation of another fundraiser the group had planned to hold on the following day.
