  • Realm singing in Madison Sunday

    The Infinite Realm will present a concert of Christian music at the Calvary Wesleyan Church during the morning worship service Sunday, June 10.

    The group recently released their latest recording, entitled “Healing,” and will include many of the selections from the new recording in their concert repertoire Sunday. A typical Infinite Realm concert includes a wide variety of musical tastes, including traditional gospel, bluegrass gospel, Carribean music, country, Praise & Worship and contemporary styles.

  • Board OKs revenue bonds for TCHS roof

    The Trimble County Board of Education on Saturday, going into session as the Trimble Count School District Financial Corporation, OK’d a resolution to issue bonds for $1.25 million to replace the roof at Trimble County High School.

    Superintendent Marcia Haney-Dunaway said Tuesday that work on the building is expected to begin in three weeks.

    The board awarded the project to the lowest bidder, Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal in Lexington, with a bid of $1.05 million for the project, including an alternate bid to replace rooftop gas lines.

  • TC School District to participate in summer meal program

    The Trimble County School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.  Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

  • School volunteer background checks now $10

    Due to recently notified circumstances, Trimble County Schools will no longer be able to process Volunteer Background Check forms as a free service for students’ families. The Trimble County Board of Education Office staff is trying to get the word out to families to let them know this.

    Effective July 1, 2012, the Administrative Office of the Courts will be charging a fee of $10 for each individual wanting to have a Volunteer Form Request done.
