Gary Greenwood of Milton received an award for finishing first in his age group at the recent Climb Louisville Fight for Air Climb in Louisville.
Greenwood completed the climb in seven minutes 44 seconds. The climb involved 38 floors (780 steps) at the National City Tower in downtown Louisville. The National City Tower is the second-tallest building in Kentucky.
Greenwood’s time was 23rd best of 210 participants. It is the second year in a row he has won his age group. This year he finished 11 spots higher overall than last year.

The vocal band, organized in 1969 by a group of Trimble County High School students, will present a concert of inspirational music, including a wide variety of musical styles. The public is invited.

The Hope Health Clinic, a non-profit primary care medical office located on the campus of Baptist Health LaGrange, is offering a free smoking cessation class in Trimble County, beginning Tuesday, March 1, at the Trimble County Cooperative Extension Office at 43 High Country Lane, Bedford. The one hour class will be held at 5:30 p.m. every Tuesday for 13 weeks.
