    Light UP Bedford will start at 5:45 p.m. at the Courthouse Square and Rotary Club Chili Supper at 5:30 at Morgan’s Community Center with musical entertainment and a visit from Santa Claus. Carriage rides from 6-8 p.m. with payment of 1 food can for the Pantry Bank.

    Trimble County Historical Society will meet at 1 p.m. in the Kentucky Room at the Trimble County Public Library. All members are urged to attend as election of new officers will be held.

    Trimble County Middle School will honor veterans in our community with a visual exhibit, as well as a short program from 9-9:45 a.m. Refreshments will be provided afterward.

    Trimble County Fiscal Court will hold a work session at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, to discuss animal control ordinances. The public is invited to attend and give feedback on animal control and what should be included in documents of enforcement for the county’s soon-to-be-hired animal control officer.

    Palmyra Community is holding a Trick or Treat at the Nixon Farm, 1066 Palmyra Road starting at 6 p.m. One Trip-One Stop Young or Old. Young dress in costume and be treated-Think you’re too old to Trick or Treat! Bring your ghoulish goodies and a chair and treat the little goblins.     Halloween Costume Party from 6-9 p.m. at Morgan Community Center. Music, games, eats and treats. Prizes for costumes so come dressed to win. $5 per person or $15 for family (4 or more) All proceeds support the Hands of Christ Food Pantry.

    Tri-County Community Action Agency’s Board of Directors will meet at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Campbellsburg State Police Post meeting room located at 180 Citation Lane just off the I-71 exit in Campbellsburg. The public is invited to attend. Tri-County CAA provides services in Henry, Oldham and Trimble Counties.
