Today is Black Thursday: wear black to protest weapons like domestic violence, sexual assault, rape, incest, genital mutilation, sexual harassment, discrimination and human trafficking. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Love shouldn’t hurt so join us and wear black today.

Tri-County Community Action Agency’s Board of Directors will meet at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Campbellsburg State Police Post meeting room located at 180 Citation Lane just off the I-71 exit in Campbellsburg. The public is invited to attend. Tri-County CAA provides services in Henry, Oldham and Trimble Counties.

Signature Healthcare will be hosting a community flu shot clinic, sponsored by CVS pharmacy, from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. at Signature Healthcare of Trimble Co., 50 Shepherd Lane Bedford, Ky. CVS pharmacy will administer the shots and will bill any insurance plans that you have.  Those without insurance will have a fee.
