Wrestlers earn trophies

Two wrestling styles, Greco and Freestyle and two different days earn some local boys trophies and ribbons.

Before a crowd of approximately 200, Bryce Turner, 7, son of Chris Turner, Bedford and Devin Turner, Salem, Ind., finished 1st in the Bantam Division of the Club Madison Greco Wrestling Tournament held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Madison Consolidated High School in Madison, Ind.

Brody Cull, 7, son of Daniel and Christy Cull, Bedford finished 2nd in the Bantam Division.
Jarod Bladen, 9, son of Becky Bladen, Madison won 1st place in the Intermediate Division.

On Saturday, April 9, Bryce and Brody again took 1st and 2nd respectfully in the Bantam Division. This time in the Club Madison Freestyle Wrestling Tournament also held at the Madison Consolidated High School in Madison, Ind.

Brayden Taylor, 5, son of Brent and Lindsey Taylor, Bedford, finished 3rd in the Pewee Division.

Landry Kelton, 9-year-old son of Charlie and Tara Kelton of Bedford, finished 6th in the Intermediate Division.

Jarod Bladen took 2nd in the Intermediate Division.

These boys are members of the Club Madison and Bears team of Lide White Boys and Girls Club in Madison, Ind. in addition to being members of Punishment Wrestling Academy.

All of these wrestlers train at TNT Wrestling Club/Punishment Wrestling Academy in Milton. TNT holds several wrestling camps each year for area youth interested in the sport of competitive wrestling.
