Saturday, June 11
The Trimble County Band members will hold a car wash Saturday, June 11, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Little Town & Country Restaurant in Bedford. The car wash is free. Donations will be accepted and appreciated. All proceeds from the car wash will benefit the Trimble County Middle and High School band programs. Call Dawn Arnett, 268-3385, for more information.

Shake It Up Cafe’ Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be held at Bedford Christian Church from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Please pre-register Pre-K through 5th grade children at the following website http://www.cokesburyvbs.com/shake-it-up-cafe/Bedford_Christian_Church_VBS or call the church office at 502-255-4413.  All children in this age group are welcome to attend.  An adult Bible study will be held in conjunction with the youth VBS - please sign up on the same website and click on the ‘volunteer’ button to register for this class.

The Milton Baptist Church will hold vacation Bible school, beginning Monday, June 13 through Friday, June 18. The theme of this year’s VBS is “Rev It Up For Jesus.” Registration will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 13 with food, games and cars to look at. Every child will receive a Hot Wheel. On Wednesday, June 15, a race car will be available for everyone to have their picture taken in. On Thursday, June 16, Air Methods will have their new helicopter at the church. Come enjoy a fun filled week as we “Rev It Up For Jesus!”

Seekers of Serenity Circle of Light Monthly Meeting is held at the Harmonizing Health Retreat on New Hope Rd from 7-9 p.m. The topic is “Clearing Emotional Debris.” Women enjoy tea, networking and new friendships. The intention of our circle is to bring forth our highest dreams and create joy, beauty and truth from within so that we can be a light in our families and in our communities. Trimble County Arts Council is sponsoring an art exhibit during the month of June at the Trimble County Library.
