Since June 2nd, we have received 1.8 inches of rainfall at my house in Milton in 37 days. That’s less than 0.36 inches of rain per week. Most of that rainfall occurred on July 1st and 2nd. Coupled with the oppressive humidity and temperatures above 100° F, the weather has been taking a toll on our pastures, crops, lawns, potted plants and landscapes. We can’t control the weather or rainfall, but there are some things we can do to maximize the benefits of watering our landscape plants and potted plants.
