On Nov. 1 a gentleman came home to his residence on U.S. 42 near Bray’s Orchard and observed two males coming out of his house carrying a license plate and a jewelry box.

The individual reported the incident to police and gave a description of the vehicle in which the two suspects were traveling.

The Trimble County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop at U.S. 42W and Sulphur Road of a black GMC Envoy.

“We found jewelry in the vehicle that was from the victim’s residence,” Sheriff Tim Coons said. “The homeowner made positive identification of the subjects.”

Arrested and charged with burglary second degree and receiving stolen property were 36-year-old Eulas Garmon, Jr., and 35-year-old Jeffery O. Harris, both of Louisville.

The two suspects were lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Mick Gonterman assisted in the investigation.
