The Trimble Banner publishes all misdemeanors, felonies and small-claims judgments recorded in district court, as well as all civil suits recorded in circuit court. Juvenile court cases are not published.

The following cases were heard in Trimble county Court the week of Jan. 22-25, 2013.

FELONIES

Kenneth Valentine - Flagrant non-support, not guilty plea entered, continued to 1-29-13. Bond remains the same.
Tommy Savage - Public intoxication of a controlled substance excluding alcohol, 1st degree possession of a controlled substance, 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia - not guilty plea entered, continued to 1-29-13. Bond remains the same.
Everett C. Sullivan, Jr. - criminal mischief, 3rd degree. Found guilty, 15 days in jail (balance of 75 days conditionally discharged for 2 years), $288.75 restitution, $250 bond, $230 fees & court costs. Continued to 4-2-13.
William Bevill - operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs 1st offense, 1st degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, disregarding stop sign. Continued to 3-19-13
David H. Bird - convicted felon in possession of a firearm - time waiver 2-19-13.
William Clark - 1st degree unlawful transaction with a minor of a controlled substance - dismissed without prejudice.
Aaron Joseph Hoeferkamp - 1st degree rape, victim under 12 years of age. Preliminary hearing held, probable cause exists. Refer to grand jury, amend bond to $25,000 cash. No new offenses, no contact with any child under 18 years of age.
James A. Huff - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Preliminary hearing held, probable cause exists, refer to grand jury for potential indictment. Bond remains the same.
Emilio Lopez - operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs 1st offense, failure to produce insurance card, discharging a firearm in public, hunting with lights or other illegal means at night, hunting under the influence of alcohol or other controlled substance, 1st degree wanton endangerment, hunting without a hunter education course card, hunting or trapping without a license. Need interpreter. Continued to 2-19-13.
Micheal Welch - 1st degree possession of heroin, 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia. Dismissed without prejudice.

MISDEMEANORS

Candy L. Boggs - Alcohol intoxication in a public place - 1st and 2nd offense. Guilty plea entered. $203 in fines and court costs due 2-19-13.
Tommy Savage - 4th degree Assault - domestic violence with minor injury, violations of conditions of release. Not guilty plea entered. Bond remains the same, no contact with complaining witness. Continued to 1-29-13.
Stanley K. Green - operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, 1st offense, possession of marijuana. Continued to 3-5-13.
James Michael Redmon - theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting. Failed to appear, bench warrant issued. $200 due.
Stephen Todd Smith - show cause hearing. Failed to appear, bench warrant issued. $883 due.
Kenneth W. Breeden - violation of Kentucky EPO, 2nd degree disorderly conduct. Continued to 3-19-13.
Patrick D. Harmon, Jr. - 4th degree assault with minor injury. Guilty plea entered, 30 days conditionally discharged for 2 years. No new offenses, no contact with complaining witness, $153 court costs due 4-2-13.
Butch Terrell Hayes - show cause hearing - continued to 2-5-13 to pay or appear.
Kevin Herald - 4th degree assault with minor injury - continued to 2-5-13. 4th degree assault with minor injury (2nd count) - continued to 2-22-13 for jury trial.
Brandon J. Howard - alcohol intoxication in a public place 1st & 2nd offense, 2nd degree disorderly conduct. Not guilty plea entered, continued to 2-5-13.
Eric C. Klink - possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia - continued for final pretrial conference to 2-19-13.
William S. Raisor - possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia. Failed to appear, bench warrant issued, $300 cash.
Michael Welch - theft by unlawful taking. $500 bond, remain law abiding, no contact with complaining witness. Continued to 2-5-13.
Carroll Sullivan, Jr. - review, county attorney to file response.

TRAFFIC

Brad Edward Campagna - speeding 20 mph over the limit. Diversion, pass for 6 months, if no problems will dismiss. $100 diversion fee due 2-19-13.
Alex Carwile - expired plates, not guilty plea entered, continued to 3-19-13; failure to maintain required insurance 1st degree, amend to failure to maintain insurance 2nd degree.
Jacob S. Fulton - speeding 15 mph over the limit. Guilty plea entered $173 due 3-5-13 for fines and court costs.
Chrystal G. Graves - no/expired other state registration, expired plates. Continued to 2-5-13.
Kasie Holland - failure to wear seatbelt. Failed to appear, DOT notified.
Garnett D. Lawson - show cause hearing, waive payment of fines and court costs. Defendant deceased. Close out case.
Keith A. Lewis - FTA review - assign and apply bond to fine and costs by 2-5-13.
Pablo Lopez - speeding 15 mph over the limit, failure to produce insurance card, operating on suspended/revoked license. Failed to appear, bench warrant issued, $500 cash.
Ricky D. McDole - failure to wear seatbelt. Guilty plea entered, $25 fine - paid; failure to produce insurance card, proof shown, dismissed.
Joshua Murick - speeding 10 mph over the limit. Send in 2-5-13.
Manuel D. Rodriguez - show cause hearing - paid.
Derrick Webster - show cause hearing for proof of ADE compliance - continue to 4-2-13.
Douglas A. Hopper - show cause hearing. $223 due, continued to 4-2-13 to pay in full or serve balance.
James Huff - show cause hearing for proof of ADE enrollment. Continued to 2-5-13.
Cara C. Lafollette - show cause hearing. Failed to appear. DOT notified. Bench warrant issued. $273 due in fines and costs.
Terry Works - operating on suspended/revoked license. Dismissed per county attorney.
Taylor Fox - show cause hearing. Restitution balance to be paid by the 28th of each month starting Jan. 2013. No continuances, if not paid by the 28th a bench warrant will be served.
Patrick D. Harmon, Jr. - speeding 14 mph over the limit, guilty plea entered, $28 fine; failure of owner to maintain required insurance 1st, guilty plea, $500 fine, $400 suspended - $100 due; failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, no/expired other state registration receipt, merged/dismissed. $271 total due, continued to 4-2-13.
Jeremy Sullivan - speeding 9 mph over the limit - Remand to 2-15-13 jury trial. No muffler - continued to 2-5-13; driving DUI suspended license - 2nd offense. Amend to 3rd offense DUI suspended.
Jeremy Sullivan - operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol 3rd offense. Jury trial 2-15-13.
Gabrielle D. Taylor - failure to wear seatbelt, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, operating on suspended/revoked license. Send in 2-5-13.
Roy L. Wieber, II - failure to wear seat belt - guilty plea entered, $25 fine due 2-19-13; failure to produce insurance card, proof shown, dismissed.

Must attend and complete ADE program, release bond per assignment. Possession of open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, merge/dismissed.
