The Trimble Banner publishes all misdemeanors, felonies and small-claims judgments recorded in district court, as well as all civil suits recorded in circuit court. Juvenile court cases are not published.

The following cases were heard in Trimble County Court the week of Dec. 3-Dec. 7, 2012.

Felony

Patrick R. Box, show cause for $593 due. Paid.
Hilario Chico, alcohol intoxication in a public place, 1st and 2nd offense. Guilty plea entered. $203 fine and court cost due Jan. 15. Leaving accident dismissed.
Mike L. Dixon, driving DUI suspended license, 2nd offense in 5 years, aggravator amended to operating on suspended operating license; operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, .08, aggravator, 3rd offense. Guilty plea entered. DUI, 3rd offense, aggravator. $1018 due Aug. 13; impoundment March 26; enrollment in Alcohol or Drug Education program for multiple offender due March 26, suspension of license for 24 months, jail for 120 days, to serve 60 with 10 days credit for time served and 60 days conditionally discharged for 2 years. Possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle dismissed, Failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense continued to March 26.

Misdemeanor

Lauren M. Hamilton, flagrant non-support. Waived to Grand jury.
Lisa M. Murray, review for expungement-2 cases. Order signed.
Kenny Parson, other hearing. Deer head has been returned, Defendant present. Continue to Jan. 15.
Gabriel D. Smith, show cause for $353 due. After court defendant made payment. Recall DOT and Warrant. Continue to Dec. 18.

Traffic

Jeff Adams, speeding 10 mph over limit, operating on suspended or revoked operators license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense, improper registration plate, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, no or expired other state registration receipt or plates. Not guilty plea enter continue to Jan. 15. Need MVR from Indiana.
Fransisco J. Alfero-Arechar, no operators or moped license, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense. Not guilty plea entered. Continue Dec. 18.
Brandon E. Arteaga, improper turning, reckless driving. Guilty plea entered. $163 fine and court cost due. State traffic school. Improper use of left lane dismissed.
Eliborio M. Artega, careless driving dismissed. Operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with .08, aggravator, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered to DUI, 1st, aggravator. $718 fine and court cost due Jan. 15. Enroll in Alcohol and Drug education program for 1st offenders by Jan. 15. 30 days suspension of license; 4 days jail with 1-day credit.
Chrystal D. Benefiel, permit unlicensed operator to operate motor vehicle. Guilty plea entered. $243 fine and court cost due today. Failure to notify address change to DOT dismissed.
Joshua T. Burkhardt, failure to wear seat belts. Guilty plea entered. Paid. Failure to notify address change to DOT dismissed.
David Cull, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc., .08, 1st offense, failure to produce insurance card. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to Jan. 15. License to be in possession dismissed.
Grace A. Diehlman, speeding 10 mph over limit. Guilty plea entered. Paid. Failure to produce insurance card dismissed.
Douglas E. Ehrnreiter, failure to wear seat belt. Guilty plea entered, paid. Failure to produce insurance card dismissed.
Crystal R. Ferguson, failure to wear seat belts. Guilty plea entered, paid. Failure to produce insurance card, failure to notify address change to DOT dismissed.
Aaron M. Hicks, overweight on AAA Highway. Guilty plea entered. Paid. License to be in possession dismissed.

Raymond G. Lunsford Jr., no or expired registration plates, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card dismissed.
Dylan T. McCane, careless driving, possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle dismissed. Operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol under 21 years of age. Guilty plea entered. $243 fine and court cost due Jan. 15. Enroll in Alcohol and Drug Education program for under 21 year olds by Jan. 15. 60 days suspension of license.

Sarah F. Shelton, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc, .08, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered to DUI, 1st offense. $375 due Nov. 15; jail for 7 days credit for time served; license suspension for 30 days enter Alcohol and Drug Education program for first offenders Nov. 15.
