The Trimble Banner publishes all misdemeanors, felonies and small-claims judgments recorded in district court, as well as all civil suits recorded in circuit court. Juvenile court cases are not
published.

Crime reports are provided by local law enforcement agencies. Charges or citations reported to The Trimble Banner do not imply guilt.

The following cases were heard in Trimble County Court the week of Aug. 20-24, 2012.

Felony
Benjamin David Hancock, motion to revoke conditional discharge time. Revocation hearing Oct. 16.
Joseph Darren Wilson, flagrant non-support. Defendant waives to grand jury, bond remains same, waiver signed.

Misdemeanor
Kenneth Bowling, show cause for $100 due. Either pay or appear Sept. 18.
Kerry Coots, review-2 cases. Continue to Oct. 16 for proof of counseling.
Cody Droddy, review for expungement order to be signed-3 cases. Order of expungement signed.
Eric Klink, review. Continue to Oct. 2.
Rhonda Lawson, review for diversion. Dismissed-successful diversion.
James McFarland, assault 4th degree domestic violence no visible injury. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to Oct. 2. No contact with complaining witness.
Devonna Payton, assault 4th degree domestic violence minor injury dismissed per successful diversion.
Nicole Pollard, show cause for $25. Continue to Sept 18 for proof of Aug. payment.
Gary S. Redfern, alcohol intoxication in a public place, 1st & 2nd offense. Dismissed per CA.
Adrienne M. Ricketts, confinement and control of dogs at night, dogs to be vaccinated against rabies, dogs to be licensed. Guilty plea entered. 5 days jail to serve in lieu of fines and court cost. 2 days credit.
Lee Smith, review. Dismissed-successful diversion.
Michael Kenneth Sprague, speeding 10 mph over limit, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, .08, 3rd offense, careless driving, obstructed vision and or windshield, operating on suspended or revoked operators license, possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle, failure to wear seat belts, failure to have a signaling device. Failed to appear. Issue bench warrant $1,000 cash if doesn’t show by 4 p.m.
Kimberly A. Walker, possession of marijuana continue to Sept. 13. Special prosecutor Virginia Harrod.
Corey A. Wardrup, theft by deception. Continue to Oct. 11.
Brandon L. Wooten, show cause for proof of M.E. program. Continue to Sept 18 for completion of M.E. program.
Miranda D. Works, show cause for $75 due. Failed to appear, issue warrant $105 cash, no surety or 3 days jail.

Traffic
Lori Alsman, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc, .08, 1st offense, leaving the scene of an accident or failure to render aid or assistance, possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense. Not guilty plea entered. Pretrial conference Oct. 16.
Troy Arvin II, show cause for $163 fine and court cost due. Continue to Nov. 27 to be paid in full.
Lauren A. Barger, speeding 23 mph over limit. Guilty plea entered. State traffic school and $143 court cost due Nov. 27.  Careless driving merged and dismissed. Failure to produce insurance card dismissed per proof.
Joseph T. Billington, suppression hearing. Continue to Oct. 11.
Emmanuel L. Brooks, review. Attorney James allowed to withdraw as counsel of record. Substitute Jason Butler as attorney of record and continue Oct. 16.
Matthew Christopher Carter, failure to illuminate headlamps, operating on suspended or revoked license. Failed to appear. Notify DOT and issue warrant $250 cash.
Melinda Clark, show cause for payment due. Continue to Sept. 18 for Aug. payment.
Timothy F. Curl, speeding 15 mph over limit, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs etc, .08, 1st offense. Continue to Sept. 21 for jury trial.
Bethaney J. Dearing, speeding 16 mph over limit. Guilty plea entered. State traffic school; $143 court cost paid. Failure to produce insurance card dismiss per proof.
Alana K. Doll, speeding 25 mph over limit. Failed to appear. Notify DOT.
Darren A. Ellegood, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc, .08, 1st offense. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to Oct 2.  Failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense dismissed per proof.
Kristi Harper, speeding 16 mph over limit. Guilty plea entered. State traffic school and $143 court cost due Dec. 27. License to be in possession dismissed per proof.
Douglas R. Hayden, review. Apply bond to fine and court cost and refund balance to defendant. Recall DOT.
Rea Hugge, operating on suspended or revoked operator license continued to Oct. 2.
Cara LaFollette, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered. $243 fine and court cost due Jan. 22. License to be in possession, improper display of registration plates, no or expired registration plates, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt. Dismissed per proof. Disregarding stop sign, rear license not illuminated merged and dismissed.
Diana L. Land, show cause for $218 due and proof of ADE enrollment. Balance paid; continue to Sept. 18 for proof of ADE.
Casey R. Matthews, failure to produce insurance card dismissed per proof.
Ricky McDole, speeding 22 mph over limit. Pass for 6 months and if no problems will dismiss. $100 diversion fee paid today. Careless driving merged and dismissed.
Amber N. Mohoney, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc, .08, 1st offense, failure to wear seat belts, operating a boat or watercraft under the influence of alcohol, 1st offense. Not guilty plea enter continue to Oct. 2.
Gina L. Munier, speeding 22 mph over limit. Pass for 6 months and if no problems will dismiss. Paid $100 diversion fee today. Careless driving merged and dismissed.
Arthur D. Murray, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with .08, aggravator, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered. $718 fine and court cost due Feb. 26. 4 days jail, 2 days credit, 30 days loss of license, attend and compete ADE program with proof of enrollment Sept. 18.  Failure to produce insurance card dismissed per proof. Careless driving merged and dismissed.
Juan S. Olandes, show cause for 863 due. Failed to appear, issue warrant  $893 cash, no surety.
David W. Pipes II, show cause for $143. Failed to appear. Notify DOT.
Daniel P. Regan, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc, .08, 1st offense. Remand-jury trial date suppression hearing Sept. 27.
Richard T. Shell, failure to wear seat belts. Guilty plea entered. $25 fine paid. Failure to produce insurance card dismissed per proof. No or expired registration plates dismissed per proof.

Jeremy Sullivan, speeding 9 mph over limit, inadequate silencer, driving DUI suspended license, 2nd offense, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, .08, 3rd offense, driving on DUI suspended license, 1st offense, operating on suspended or revoked operators license. Continue to Oct. 2.
Kimberly D. Washer, speeding 19 mph over limit. Diversion-pass for 6 months and if no problems will dismiss. $100 diversion fee due today.
Derrick Webster, show cause for proof of ADE enrollment. Continue to Sept 18 for proof.
