Items published in court news are public record.
The Trimble Banner publishes all misdemeanors, felonies and small-claims judgments recorded in district court, as well as all civil suits recorded in circuit court. Juvenile court cases are not published.
Crime reports are provided by local law enforcement agencies. Charges or citations reported to The Trimble Banner do not imply guilt.
The following cases were heard in court the week of June 20-24, 2011.

Felony
Kenneth Joseph Burke, flagrant non-support. Waived to Trimble County Grand Jury.
Mark A. Cohron Jr., sexual abuse, 1st degree. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing May 31.
Todd Russell Duncan, flagrant non-support. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing May 31.
Jimmie Graham Fox, flagrant non-support. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to June 21.
Jeremy T. Gore, unlawful possession of meth precursor, 1st offense, drug paraphernalia, buy or possession. Dismiss without prejudice.
Brandi Nichole Jones, assault 4th degree minor injury, wanton endangerment-1st degree, wanton endangerment-2nd degree, criminal mischief, 1st degree, criminal mischief, 3rd degree, escape, 2nd degree, identify facility. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing May 31.
Olivia Nester, assault 4th degree, no visible injury, assault, 3rd degree, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, 3rd degree. Not guilty plea entered preliminary hearing June 7.
Cleveland Riley, theft by unlawful taking-2 counts, burglary, 3rd degree-2 counts, theft by unlawful taking over $10,000, burglary, 2nd degree, theft by unlawful taking-gasoline, theft by unlawful taking-vehicle parts-2 counts. Probable cause found, refer to Trimble County Grand Jury.
Zachariah Waters, flagrant non-support. Preliminary hearing June 21.
Misdemeanor
Billy G. Frazier, illegal possession of legend drug, indecent exposure, 1st degree, 1st offense, indecent exposure, 2nd degree. Continue to June 7.
Joshua L. Hutslar, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia-buy or possession. Guilty plea entered. $893 fine and court cost. Apply bond, balance due July 19; 45 days condition discharged for 2 years; proof of substance abuse program July 19
Nicole Pollard, theft by deception, cold checks, theft by unlawful taking. $1,000 unsecured bond. Not guilty plea entered. Pretrial conference June 14.
Cory Pyles, no operators or moped license dismissed. Possession of marijuana. $500 fine and 45 days conditional discharged for 2 years, proof of completion of substance abuse program Oct. 5; solicitation of drug paraphernalia, buy or possession amended to possession of drug paraphernalia. Guilty plea entered. $250 fine. Operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc,.08, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered. DUI, 1st $712 fine, enroll and attend ADE for 1st offender by June 21, 30 days suspension of license.
Cleveland Riley, receiving stolen property under $500-2 counts. Pretrial conference Aug. 4.
Jeffrey Sallee, revocation hearing. Continue to June 21.
Cassandra N. Spencer, show cause hearing for $243 due. If not paid, warrant.
Mary Starks, theft by deception. Guilty plea entered. Restitution, fees and court cost of $417 due Aug. 16.
Dereck Allen Sullivan, assault 4th degree domestic violence no visible injury-2 counts. Not guilty plea entered. Bench trial June 21.
Connie Tatman, theft by unlawful taking. Not guilty plea entered. Pretrial conference June 21.
Jesse W. Wilhelm, speeding 15 mph over limit, improper equipment, license to be in possession, operating on suspended or revoked operators license dismissed. Failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered. $500 fine, $400 suspended. Possession of marijuana. Guilty plea entered. $500 fine, 45 days conditional discharged for 2 years, Substance abuse classes enrollment proof Nov. 22. Drug paraphernalia, buy or possession. Guilty plea entered $250 fine, court cost $143. $995 fines and court cost, apply bond, balance due Nov. 22

Timothy R. Andrew, failure to wear seat belts. Failed to appear, notify DOT.
Leslie K. Ball Jr., no or expired registration plates, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt dismissed.
Judith A. Burgess, failure to wear seat belts. Failed to appear, notify DOT.
Clint J. Coleman, failure to produce insurance card dismissed.
George D. Crowe, speeding 16 mph over limit. Guilty plea entered to amended 15 mph over. $175 fine court cost. Driving too fast for traffic conditions dismissed.
Steven A. Gribbins, review. Defendant is re-enrolled in DUI classes; court to hold bond until defendant completes. Review July 19.
Misty A. Heaton, review. 6 month diversion. Review for dismissal Nov. 22.
Jordan D. Helsley, failure to wear seat belts. Failed to appear, notify DOT.
Mitchell E. Hoskins, failure to wear seat belts. Failed to appear, notify DOT.
Billy L. Hunt, failure to produce insurance card dismissed.
Jacob E. Hunt, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt, no or expired registration plates, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle dismissed.
Nichole T. Knight, speeding 18 mph over limit, failure to wear seat belts. Guilty plea entered. State traffic school and $168 fine and court cost due June 21.
Joshua A. Loos, failure to produce insurance card dismissed.
Robert A. McDowell, failure to wear seat belts, failure to produce insurance card. Failed to appear, notify DOT.
Cammie M. McKay, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense dismissed.
Steven Wayne Morgan, no or expired registration plates, operating on suspended or revoked operators license, failure of non owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense. Continue to June 7.
David W. Nuckols, speeding 17 mph over limit. Guilty plea entered. State traffic school and $143 court cost due today.
