The Trimble Banner publishes all misdemeanors, felonies and small-claims judgments recorded in district court, as well as all civil suits recorded in circuit court. Juvenile court cases are not published.
Crime reports are provided by local law enforcement agencies. Charges or citations reported to The Trimble Banner do not imply guilt.
The following cases were heard in court the week of June 13-June 17, 2011.

Felony
Leonard J. Andrew Jr., Arson, 1st degree. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing June 21.
John Rob Law, flagrant non-support. Dismissed without prejudice, refund bond to surety.
Dereck Allen Sullivan, speeding 26 mph over limit, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense, failure to wear seat belts, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with .08, aggravator, 1st offense, fleeing or evading police, 1st degree, reckless driving, first degree possession of controlled substance or drug unspecified, 1st offense, possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing July 26, time waiver signed.

Misdemeanor
James Cunningham, diversion review. Continue to June 28.
Ronald T. Evridge, operating motor vehicle under influence of alcohol or drugs, etc, .08, 1st offense, careless driving, controlled substance prescription not in original container, 1st offense. Dismissed with prejudice, refund bond.
Ronald T. Evridge, review. Continue to Aug. 9 for revocation hearing.
Jerell Farley III, theft by deception including cold checks. Failed to appear, issue warrant for $500 cash, no surety.
Josue S. Gonzalez, review. Dismissed per successful diversion.
James Huff, review. Remand motion to revoke.
Shirley Ann Hunter, review. Dismissed per successful diversion.
Dennis Lamothe, show cause for proof of compliance. Review Dec. 13.
Metina Yvonne Lynch Sanchez, show cause for $193 due. Pay $20 today, continue to Aug. 23 for payment in full.

Kevin L. Shockey, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc., .08, 1st offense, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense, no or expired registration plates, possession of marijuana, possessing open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. Not guilty plea entered. Pretrial conference July 26.
William Wolf, show cause for completion of substance abuse program and $80 due. Defendant gets 3 days credit in lieu of court cost, court no longer monitors substances treatment, close out case.

Traffic
Zachary R. Adams, failure to wear seat belts. Guilty plea entered. $25 fine. Failure to produce insurance card amended to failure to maintain insurance, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered. $500 fine, $100 suspended. Failure to notify address change to DOT merged and dismissed. $568 fines and court cost due Dec. 13.
James R. Baird, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, .08, aggravator, 2nd offense amend to DUI, 1st offense, failure to wear seat belts, failure to produce insurance card, Possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. Pretrial conference June 28.
William R. Boyd, failure to wear seat belts. Failed to appear, notify DOT.
Victor A. Ellis Jr., failed to appear review. Amend bond to $500 unsecured, remain law abiding, not to drive without valid license, bring to court July 26.
Braden L. Gray, failure to wear seat belts. Guilty plea entered $25 fine due June 28. Failure to produce insurance card, improper display of registration plates dismissed per proof.
Diana L. Gray, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered. $500 fine with $300 suspended. $343 fine and court cost due and proof of 6 months paid insurance Dec. 13.
Casey D. Harmon, no or expired registration plates, failure to produce insurance card dismissed per proof.
Danton Ross Harper, show cause for proof of 6 months insurance paid. Proof of 6 months paid insurance. Amended order entered to send abstract to DOT.
Christopher Heaton, review. Dismissed-successful diversion.
Mac E. Herman Jr., no or expired registration plates. Continue to June 28.
Chandler M. Hughes, speeding 21 mph over limit. Guilty plea entered. State traffic school and $143 court cost due. Failure to produce insurance card dismissed per proof. Reckless driving merged and dismissed.
Gary T. Johnson, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc., .08, 1st offense. Continue to June 28.
Brandi N. Jones, failure to wear seat belts. Dismissed without prejudice. Operating on suspended or revoked operators license. Defendant stipulates probable cause. Dismiss without prejudice.
Daniel McFarland Sr., failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense, no or expired registration plates, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, operating on suspended or revoked operators license, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle. Not guilty plea entered. Pretrial conference July 12.
Michael J. Murphy, show cause for $218 due. Failed to appear. Warrant $248 cash, no surety;
Adam Q. Pollard, show cause for $243 due. Pay $25 by 4 p.m. today and continue to Aug. 23 to pay balance.
Patty Lou Satterly, no or expired registration plates, failure to produce insurance card, operating on suspended or revoked operators license, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense, improper display of registration plates, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, license to be in possession. Failed to appear. Send notice to DOT, warrant for $1,000 cash.
Jeremiah S. Sharp, show cause for compliance with ADE classes. Continue to June 28 for proof of ADE compliance.
Eric Powell Simons, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered. $500 fine, $100 suspended, $400 due plus $143 court cost.
Samuel E. Stewart Jr., failure to wear seat belts. Failed to appear, notify DOT.
Jeremy D. Sullivan, review notice of non-compliance. Continue to June 28 to show proof of compliance with ADE program.
Amy M. Turner, speeding 15 mph over limit. Failed to appear, notify DOT.
