Milton United Methodist Church will hold a Valentine’s Day Family Fellowship Dinner and Game Night. The event will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the church, located at 11100 Hwy 421 North on the Milton hilltop.
The Carrollton High School class of 1963 will be celebrating their 50th class reunion on Oct. 5, 2013. They are currently trying to contact all teachers, coaches and administrators for the years of 1960-63 and their 1963 classmates. The Women’s Circle of Light meets 1st Tuesday of the month 7-9 p.m. at the Harmonizing Health Retreat, 1028 New Hope Rd., Bedford. Women enjoy networking and new friendships. The purpose of our circle is to find peace and strength within ourselves to create joy, beauty and dream fulfillment. Programs build loving relations to be a positive influence in our families and our communities.

JCTC Trimble County Adult Education will be conducting a Job Skills and Computer Literacy Class at the Trimble County Public Library on Monday and Wednesday beginning January 14, 2013, and ending March 27, 2013. The class will be held from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Some topics that we plan to cover are resume and cover letter writing, online job search and application, and preparation for the National Career Readiness Certificate. Seekers of Self-awareness meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month 7-9 p.m. at the Rainbow Spiritual Education Center, 2701 Lindsay Ave., Louisville. The goal of this training is to actualize your highest whole brain function by awakening all your senses to balance emotionally and live more fully in the present moment. Access the link between meditation and creativity. Balance the Male/Female within by bridging your right/ left brain through meditation, imagery, relaxation, affirmations and self-hypnosis.
JCTC Trimble County Adult Education offers FREE tutoring for GED preparation, brush up on academic skills, job skills, college preparation, National Career Readiness Certificate through ACT (to improve employability), paraeducator testing, learning to speak English, and more. The Center is open Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for classes and open lab. Testing and orientations are given on Tuesdays and Fridays by appointment. Classes and some appointments are available on Wednesdays. Other appointments are available. Students may earn incentives and great prizes for reaching certain milestones while supplies last. Circle of Reiki Friends meets the 4th Tuesday of each month 7-9 p.m. at 309 W. Madison, LaGrange. Certified Reiki Masters and Licensed Practitioners share Reiki with one another. We also offer our services for those who have not had Reiki training to experience a session at no charge. The intent of this circle is to provide the opportunity to acquaint the public with the advantages of integrating Reiki in their lives for physical, mental, emotional relief and for pain management.
