Nov. 15-16
Trimble County Emergency Management is hosting an 8-hour CPR class at the Trimble County Extension Office Building from 6:30-10:30. This two day class is Red Cross Training and is only $5 to be paid on the day of sign up.

Friday, Nov. 16
Trimble County Public Library will host a Basic Computer Class from 10-11 a.m. If you are a beginner to the world of computers, come and ask question.  This class will be repeated on Dec. 21. Sign up by calling 502-255-7362.

Tri- County C AA will be doing an open enrollment for any new Medicare Prescription drug plans part D for those who have any questions on your old Part D plans  from 12 to 2. Call 255-7514 for appt. Please bring a list of current medications. The drug plan enrollment will end on Dec 7, 2012.

Saturday, Nov. 17
Trimble County Historical Society will meet at 1 p.m. at the Trimble County Public Library. Civil War Generals from Kentucky DVD will be shown. Everyone welcome.

Monday, Nov. 19
The Trimble County Lady Raiders basketball team opens their season at home against Gallatin County. Varsity  game begins at 7:30 p.m.

Trimble County Public Library will host a ‘learn the internet’ Class from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Learn to use ‘google’, setting up an email account, best searching techniques and what to avoid. Sign up by calling 502-255-7362.

Trimble County Fiscal Court will hold their monthly meeting in the fiscal court meeting room at 9 a.m.

Thursday, Dec. 6
Trimble County Hymn Sing will be held at 7 p.m. at Bedford Springs Church off US Hwy 42W on Shepherd Lane. Everyone welcome.

Monday, Dec. 10
Trimble County Public Library will host a ‘learn Publisher Basic’ Class from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Subjects include how to make brochures, business cards, greeting cards and more. Sign up by calling 502-255-7362.

Bedford Masonic Lodge No. 158 F&AM meets the fourth Monday of each month. New meeting place is the old Methodist Church located at 266 Church St.

Milton Masonic Lodge #947 meets the 1st Monday of each month at the Milton Lodge located at 10026 Highway 421 North Milton. Meal starts at 6:30 p.m. Meeting at 7 p.m.

JCTC Trimble County Adult Education offers FREE tutoring for GED preparation, brush up on academic skills, college preparation, National Career Readiness Certificate through ACT (to improve employability), paraeducator testing, learning to speak English, and more. The Center is open Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for classes and open lab. Testing and orientations are given on Tuesdays and Fridays by appointment. Classes and some appointments are available on Wednesdays. Other appointments are available. Students may earn incentives and great prizes for reaching certain milestones while supplies last.
