Wednesday, Nov. 7
Milton Elementary School will host a special Veterans Day program at 1:15 p.m. Veterans are invited to join the students for lunch at 12:30 p.m.

The Trimble County Board of Education meets at the school administration building on Wentworth Avenue at 6 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 8
Trimble County Middle School will host a special Veterans Day program at 9 a.m.
Milton City Commission will meet at the Milton Municipal Building at 7 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 9
Bedford Elementary School will host a special Veterans Day program at 9 a.m.

Saturday, Nov. 10
Milton Fire & Rescue will have a Chili Dinner at Station No. 1 at the top of Milton Hill from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 12
Trimble County High School will host a special Veterans Day “Meet and Greet” at the TCHS library at 1 p.m. Contact Angie Brown at 255-5100, extension 2217 for more information.

Tuesday, Nov. 13
The Trimble Co. Local Emergency Planning Committee would like to invite any one interested in serving on or working with the committee to our next meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Trimble Co Extension Office.  Topics to be covered include:  the Roles and Responsibilities of the LEPC, a 211 Update, and a LEPC Social Networking Update.

Nov. 15-16
Trimble County Emergency Management is hosting an 8-hour CPR class at the Trimble County Extension Office Building from 6:30-10:30. This two day class is Red Cross Training and is only $5 to be paid on the day of sign up.

Saturday, Nov. 17
Trimble County Historical Society will meet at 1 p.m. at the Trimble County Public Library. Civil War Generals from Kentucky DVD will be shown. Everyone welcome.

Preschool Story Time is at the Trimble County Public library every Tuesday 10:30 a.m., Wednesday 10:30 a.m. and 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
Bedford Masonic Lodge No. 158 F&AM meets the fourth Monday of each month. New meeting place is the old Methodist Church located at 266 Church St.

Milton Masonic Lodge #947 meets the 1st Monday of each month at the Milton Lodge located at 10026 Highway 421 North Milton. Meal starts at 6:30 p.m. Meeting at 7 p.m.

JCTC Trimble County Adult Education offers FREE tutoring for GED preparation, brush up on academic skills, college preparation, National Career Readiness Certificate through ACT (to improve employability), paraeducator testing, learning to speak English, and more. The Center is open Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for classes and open lab. Testing and orientations are given on Tuesdays and Fridays by appointment. Classes and some appointments are available on Wednesdays. Other appointments are available. Students may earn incentives and great prizes for reaching certain milestones while supplies last.
