Milton Elementary School Community Appreciation Day from 5:20 until 7 p.m.. We will be serving hot dogs, chips and drink. Bouncies for the kids, a corn hole tournament, and the Wolf Bros will be performing in the gym. Everything is free and everyone is invited.

Bedford Christian Church will hold an Apple Festival yard sale in their yard. Proceeds will go to the Rexroat Family.
Trimble County High School Class of 1971 will have a reunion at 6 p.m. at the Butler Lodge River Room. Just send a note to Suzanne Munier Raker for the numbers attending. We pay for our own dinner. No money needs to be sent in for reservations. We would love to see you!!!
Register by calling 502-255-7362 or visiting anytime in August for the Preschool Story Time at the Trimble County Public Library. Story Time will begin September 11th Tuesday at 10:30. Every Tuesday 10:30 am, Wednesday 10:30 am and 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm.
The Morgan Community Center will be hosting the annual Apple Festival Flea Market on Friday September 7 and Saturday September 8 from 9-5(both days). If you would like to rent a space in the gym the cost is $25/both days. Outside spaces are Saturday only for $15. Tables are $2 each. All spaces and tables are on a first come bases. The gym will be available for set up on Thursday September 6 from 9-5 only. All rental proceeds will go toward the Bedford Springs Park. Call Rita Davis at 502-255-4879 for details.
Bedford Masonic Lodge No. 158 F&AM meets the fourth Monday of each month. New meeting place is the old Methodist Church located at 266 Church St.
JCTC Trimble County Adult Education offers FREE tutoring for GED preparation, brush up on academic skills, college preparation, National Career Readiness Certificate through ACT (to improve employability), paraeducator testing, learning to speak English, and more. The Center is open Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for classes and open lab. Testing and orientations are given on Tuesdays and Fridays by appointment. Classes and some appointments are available on Wednesdays. Other appointments are available. Students may earn incentives and great prizes for reaching certain milestones while supplies last.
