Mt Byrd Christian Church will host a VBS kickoff in Milton Park from 6-8 p.m. with fun activities, food and games for children ages 3 through 6th grade. Trimble County Public Library ask you to Come play along in the garbage can band starting at 10:30 a.m.! Registration is not required.
JCTC Trimble Co. Adult Education offers FREE tutoring for GED preparation, brush up on academic skills, college preparation, National Career Readiness Certicate through ACT (to improve employability), paraeducator testing, learning to speak English, and more. The Center is open Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for classes and open lab. Testing and orientations are given on Tuesdays by appointment. Classes and some appointments are available on Wednesday. Other appointments are available. Students may earn incentives and great prizes for reaching certain goals.
