Monday-Saturday, June 18-23
The Trimble County Fair at the Trimble County Recreational Park has pageants, rides and food. Fun for the whole family.

Wednesday, June 20
The Trimble County Board of Education meets at the school administration building on Wentworth Avenue at 6 p.m.

Thursday, June 21
Tri-County Community Action Agency’s Board of Directors will meet on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Post 5 meeting room on Citation Lane in Campbellsburg.

The City of Milton will hold a special meeting at the municipal building on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 5 p.m. The meeting is for the 2nd reading of the 2012-2013 budget ordinance. Executive Session will be held to discuss personnel.

The Trimble County Fair will salute veterans and current military personnel with special ceremonies beginning at 7 p.m. Veterans and active military personnel will be admitted to the fair without charge.

Saturday, June 23
The Little Kentucky River Winery will have Robby Cox, Acoustical Country and Rock entertaining from 3-6 p.m.

Saturday, June 30
The Little Kentucky River Winery will have David Dwyer, musician, with acoustic entertaining from 3-6 p.m.

Thursday, July 5
Trimble County Hymn Sing will be held at 7 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church on  US Hwy 421S. Everyone welcome.

Saturday, July 7
Pleasant View Baptist Church VBS ‘kick-off’ fish fry/hymn sing at church starting at 5 p.m. Everyone invited. VBS will be 6:30-9 p.m. July 11-14. For more information, call Gregg Fisher at 502-939-2051.

The Little Kentucky River Winery will have Capn’ Dale Kirk, musician, with acoustic entertaining from 3-6 p.m.

JCTC Trimble Co. Adult Education offers FREE tutoring for GED preparation (**GED exam is free until June 30, 2012), brush up on academic skills, college preparation, National Career Readiness Certicate through ACT (to improve  employability), paraeducator testing, learning to speak English, and more. The Center is open Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for classes and open lab.  Testing and orientations are given on Tuesdays by appointment.  Classes and some appointments are available on Wednesday.  Other appointments are available. Students may earn incentives and great prizes for reaching certain goals.  Summer workshops for GED and college preparation will begin soon. Call (502) 255-9191.
